Colorbar Definer Lip Liner Mad Me Pink Review, Swatches and FOTD
All the love and pink-ness in the air is making me mad! The overtly done bouquets, teddy bears, heart shaped chocolates, whatsapp messages everything is annoying when you are alone on the V-day. I’m lounging in my pajamas and trying to figure out what else has me mad..its the new Colorbar lip pencil in Mad Me Pink which I am madly in love with. Before I go and make out with this pencil, let me review and swatch it for you.
Colorbar Claims: Sensual defined lips just got easier and more exciting with our new range of Colorbar Definer Lip Liner. Here comes a perfect partner for your lipstick that keeps it in place for an all day look. This waterproof magic lip wand works as a fabulous lip filler which makes a proper matte base for your lips. Apply your glosses and lipsticks over this base for long lasting colour. The innovative refined formula follows and outlines the lip contour with an adjustable coverage and does not smudge.
This little product is easy to carry in your bag. It comes with it’s own sharpener cap so that every time you apply the lipliner you get a proper defined pencil to form a base for your lips. The Colorbar Definer Lip Liner come in all quirky and vibrant shades of reds, pinks and oranges like Clear Red, Rosy Red, Berry Rose, Summer Pink, True Mauve and Creamy Nude.
Mad Me Pink is a milky pastel pink shade. The sort of shades which look really flattering on fair to medium skin tones. It washes me out a bit when worn with no makeup so I make it a point to do some eye makeup or wear a blush to make it work better for me. I just this shade!
The pigmentation is really good and a single swipe covers up my lip pigmentation.
The texture is powdery matte but very creamy to apply. It glides on easily without any tugging or pulling. It never dries out my lips like other lip pencils tend to do. Still I exfoliate and moisturize my lips before to make it glide more easily. I have worn it for 6-8 hours easily. It doesn’t transfer much which I love. You can use it to increase the wear time of your lipsticks. Although I wear the lip pencil alone. The quality of these Colorbar pencils can be easily compared to MAC.
The only complaint is that I can’t wear a lip balm on top of it or it looks patchy. So make sure your wear a lip balm before and not after it.
Btw did I tell you about the packaging? It is super long which will last me forever. And it comes with a sharpener which is good since there is minimal wastage at the time of sharpening unlike the Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate which is a bit difficult to sharpen.
