Colorbar Creme Touch Lipstick Passionate 006 Review and Swatches

Colorbar Claims: Colorbar Creme Touch Lipstick comes with the promise of lips that are eloquent and luscious. It comes with lovely rich colors and rich in moisturizing properties making lips look fuller and creamier all day long. It has sheabutter, Vitamin E and sunscreen agents at SPF 15 level which nourish and protect your lips against UV rays.

My Review:

It was a rainy day and I was so bored at home with no internet ( bcoz of unstoppable continuous rains for 3 long day). I wanted to go out for shopping for some fresh air and spend time with my close buddies. Colorbar is one of those drugstore brands in India which make stunning bright lipsticks and Eyeliners to die for! I went inside this stop (blueberry) in Kolkata – new market just to search for new coloured eyeliner pencils and regular colorbar velvet matte lipsticks. The SAs have a tendency to show you the high priced items first so she took out a few shades of Creme Touch Lipsticks and swatched on my lips. I prefer swatching lipsticks on lips, that’s how the actual colour shows up. After applying a few of them, I just knew I was looking for Passionate all this long. Rainy season and passion seems so cheesy itsn’t it!

Shade: Colorbar Passionate is a bright neon pink shade with cool undertones. The pigmentation is great. Unpigmented lips would need only 1-2 swipes to make it fully opaque but on pigmented lips you might need 2-3 swipes. I am NC 37 in Mac for referrence and it suits me. Girls who are NC 40 and above should go to the store and check how it looks on them.

Texture: As the name says, its has creamy touch and your lips feels moisturised and hydrated. But due to the creaminess it transfers easily. Stays upto 4-5 hours without meals. Fades away evenly and leave a beautiful coral pink stain on lips which stays the whole day morning to night!

 Packaging: The lipstick comes with a metallic glossy silver packaging with a purple silver material band at the center. The overal packaging is far better than their usual velvet matte lipsticks.

What I like about COLORBAR Creme Touch Lipstick in Passionate:

• The bright neon pink colour.
• The creamy texture.
• Don’t settle into fine lines
• Gives an even glossy finish to lips.
• Moisturizes well, doesn’t feel dry on lips.
• Staying power is superb.
• Beautiful stain it leaves behind and gives you natural rosy pink lips the whole day.
• Pigmentation.
• Packaging.

What I don’t like about the lipstick:

• Pricey
• Stains lips which is both a good and badthing for me because at the end of the day its quite hard to remove the stain from the lips using makeup remover.
• Nothing else I can makeup leaving these two!

Final Verdict: Colorbar Creme Touch Lipstick Passionate is for all those girls who love neon lip colours. Far better than their regular matte line. There are a few drugstore brands which I can trust and Colorbar is one of them. The finish is glossy and even and keeps my lips hydrated all day. The pigmentation is great and the tint stays on all day. The packaging is also good. In short, this is a must have lipstick.
