Bourjois Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix foundation

Like you all I have also been in search of flawless skin forever but I already told you all that I am not much of a foundation girl- yet I have been lusting after Bourjois healthy mix forever after reading the rave reviews!! Mostly because I wanted the luminous finish + the skin benefits which it claimed everywhere but yeahh I live in a dump (sorry my beloved city, but you are a dump when it comes to make up) where most things are not available or even if available are so less known and far away I might as well take a trek upto delhi to buy! So anyway on my Europe trip the very first day I went to the mall with my aunt I got practically glued to the Bourjois counter (my aunt was shocked-she probably thought I had never been to a shop in my life!) She waited gaping while I snatched up a color boost crayon, bronzing primer, a nailpaint and of course today’s object of review and swatch- the new healthy mix radiance reveal foundation by Bourjois. Phew! What a name!
Bourjois Claims: NEW Healthy Mix foundation had just got even better! Give your skin a radiance boost and leave it looking flawless for up to 16 hours! Bourjois’ new Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix foundation is enriched with a fruit therapy formula to enhance your complexion. Apricot for radiance, Melon for hydration, Apple to protect your youth. It is also enriched with crystalline pigments to even out the complexion while letting in the natural light for that healthy looking glow.
Its soft, fresh texture easily blends onto the skin for a comfortable flawless finish leaving you with beautiful, radiant and hydrated skin for 8 hours. Available in 8 radiance boosting shades to suit every skin tone for fresh-looking skin.
The shades unfortunately here are too light for us and the dutch S.A looked disdainfully and gave me shade #57 hale bronze which of course under store light I felt was ok but back home I saw I should have taken 2 shades lighter. But the foundation is magic ! It is so radiant and smooth and light that I applied this shade on my face and within a few minutes it adjusted itself and sat like a second skin. The coverage is medium and is quite enough for my little discolouration and few acne scars. But it can be built up smoothly if stippled to a heavy coverage for ladies who desire so.
The texture is omgg I fell in love with it the 1st time I swatched it-so light, smooth not at all oily and my skin drank it up like magic. I knew I had to get it right away! It is extremely runny, light, so a tiny amount is required to cover the entire face and spreads very easily. My skin drinks it up instantly and it is very hydrating but not at all oily. The finish is glowy and luminous and my skin looks as if just treated to a facial. Totally bowled over!
The foundation lasts on my skin throughout the day (but I am testing it here under non-humid conditions so not sure what will happen when I am back home) and does not get greasy or oily at all through the day. Its 100% love from my side! I guess back home I have to set it with a compact.
The smell is light, fresh and fruity and totally uplifts my senses!
The packaging of these new healthy mix foundations is quite different from their usual range! These look nicer, sleeker certainly but I don’t know why they changed their plastic bottles to glass ones but this comes with a cute red pump to dispense the right amount of product instead of the ghatiya black of the previous ones so I forgive them.

The pros of Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix foundation:
- Smart, sleek packaging with a bright red pump for easy dispensing of the right amount of product.
- Light, smooth runny in texture which blends in like a dream and feels like you have applied nothing on your skin.
- A couple of shades lighter or darker do not make much of a difference IMO as it contains radiance particles and settles down very quickly, adapting to individual skin tones.
- Medium coverage ensures covering up of mild spots and discolorations and can be built up if desired.
- A tiny amount is needed per usage so proves to be quite economic in the long run.
- Fresh, mild fruity fragrance which I personally love.
- Hydrating and dewy but not at all greasy or oily.
- Does not streak, cake, oxidise or settle into fine lines.
The cons of Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix foundation:
- Glass bottle is not at all travel friendly. What if it breaks and spills all over my clothes! Do I call the bourjois designers to wash them?
- No SPF. For a near perfect foundation it seems a shame!
Price: Its for 14.99 euros and I got it for 11 euros (there was a discount!). In india its something around Rs.1095 or more online I guess.

Do I recommend? Bourjois Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix foundation gets a big yes! I am not sure if this has already been launched back in india but I guess it will follow the color boost crayons soon as we already have the healthy mix foundation and Bourjois is changing the range and revamping it to radiance reveal. I have loved no other liquid foundation more than this 1 yet (yes that includes MAC studiofix and matchmaster too) I don’t really like the feel of make up on my face and this runny light smooth liquid which melts in my skin and gives it a smooth radiant finish and glow, covering up minor imperfections is my perfect answer- at least if not in summer I will definitely wear this the rest of the year! I am thinking of getting a back up from here now. Ohh if only you had included SPF too Bourjois but anyways do pick this 1 up.
