Smokey Eye Kajal Liner Pacific by Bobbi Brown Review

In terms of eye makeup, is there anything sexier and more sophisticated than the classic Smokey Eye Look? Noooo!! Every girl wants do that chic smokey eye. But no matter how many smokey eye makeup tutorials we read or watch, its still a tricky business for novices like me. Seems like Bobbi Brown came heard us and came out with its exciting new range of smokey kajal liners. It recently launched in six hues: Black Amethyst, Black Coffee, Jade, Noir, Pacific and Storm. I got Pacific which I will review and swatch today.

I love to do smokey eye makeup and the moment I saw the shade Pacific I got it! It was like love at first sight. It is a very beautiful green shade without any shimmer. Suits my brown eyes a lot.
It is a dual ended liner with a built in smudger, making it really versatile. You can use it to neatly blend the kajal for a more subtle day look or just go mad and do some intensive smudging and blending for a mysterious night look.
Now coming on to the texture. It is very creamy and glides on smoothly without any pulling or tugging. And can be easily blended. It has a smudger brush at the back of pencil and with the help of it one can easily smudge it. It is so so creamy that its better to not use it on the water line. When I apply it on my water line, it gets messy after 2-3 hours. And when I use it on my upper eye lid without smudging then it creases and transfers as it is really creamy.
Staying power, of this is not very long. It stays on me for 4-5 hrs when I properly smudged it. So it is advisable to use a primer with it and while using it on waterline, set it with powder.

Recommendation: Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Kajal Liner Pacific is a beautiful green shade. Its good for those with dry lids or those who prefer minimum products to get smokey looks as it is very creamy and thus easy to blend and smudge. But for waterline you need to set it with powder or it will not stay for long. Best used for smokey looks.
