One of the hit and most popular blushes among blush aficionados come from the premium brand Benefit named as Benefit CORALista. This powder Blush is taglined as “a coral blush for a tropical flush“, then, and a “rio” pleasure face powder’ now, by the Brand itself. Besides Benefit Coralista, Benefit boasts a large range of Powder blushes, in various hues to meet all the greed of a woman. The best part about the Coralista blush is, it suites most of the skin tones, however, colour might not show well on too dark or wheatish tones, yet the application imparts radiance on face. Let’s start with the review and swatches.
Benefit Claims: Take a pleasure trip to Rio, …….Bikini Optional
That intends it to be meant as a summer/spring beach blush. However, I ike to keep the glow of my cheeks on throughout the year, with this blush.
Coralista is described as a Coral Pink shade, and I could not agree more. The shade does not have a slightest tone of orange or peach, what you are going to get is, this powder to be a perfect blend of hue of corals concocted with Pinks.
Coming to its texture and look, this blush does contain micro fine particles of soft shimmer that creates a coral sheen on the skin to give a complementing sheer glow, just from the first sweep onwards. I cannot really call it shimmery, and surely not matte as well, but a blush that leaves a soft coral sheen, because of micro fine particles of glisten mixed in the colour.
For daytime make-up, I sweep the powder light as shimmer effect is though tad, but there in it and under sunlight may make it even more noticeable, bringing entire attention to my cheeks of the face only. While, for a night look, heavy application does wonder.
This is undoubtedly the doable and sober blush in my Cosmetic stash and my first preference too.
Application:
On application, while the product is freshly applied on the cheeks, it gives a nice treat to the nose, with its amazing scent.
While the Benefit Coralista container will look ridiculously messy, since the blush is superrr soft and the particles are way to much powdery/chalky, so much that it keeps scattering, (Because of this you can note the side crack on my blush too). However, we are at advantage since blending the powder on the face is effortless.
This coralish-pink colour is a little less to be considered as a richly pigmented blush (Inglot is best at it) and you might need to sweep many coats to build darker/visible flush of colour, besides glow.
Personal Choice:
Personally, I love the travel/sample pack of Benefit Products, and instead of buying the full sizes, I prefer buying 3-4 sample pack in its place. First advantage being, they fit in my hand-clutch/wallet or pocket of tight jeans as well. While, the second being buying 3-4 sample size of same product is more in quantity as compared to a full size, and yet I get them at low rates with up to 35% discount.
So who would not prefer convenience of portability, more quantity and low cost for the very same product??
My Travel sized Benefit Coralista is of 3 gms/ 0.1 ounce, that comes in a black coloured flat, plastic container with having tight lid. I feel this quantity for me to be enough, for 3 months and beyond application (trust me!).
The Full size comes in 8 gms/0.28 ounce, so when I buy 3 sample size of CORALista Blush in 3gms each, I get 9 gms of quantity in total and that too cheap, (price varies).
The only advantage of buying a full size is you get a soft-bristled, flat wooden brush and a mirror, along, inside the full size cardboard box.

In a nutshell: Benefit Coralista Blush is a safe bet, as it can compliment most Indian skin tones – olives, deep, wheatish, medium, fair, porcelain, and can ensemble with any look since it looks good throughout the seasons and the end-result is always a pretty face with sheer coralish pink warm tone.
Editor: If you are looking for a very budget dupe of Coralista in India then Colorbar Peachy Rose blush is exactly the same. The price has increased from Rs.250 to Rs.450 I guess but still inexpensive in comparison to $28!
