By Contributor: Nikanshi

I am a huge germ phobic when it comes to parlor treatments, I only visit a parlor for hair cut or waxing. Never in my life I dared to go for a facial or clean up or even a mani pedi (please tell me I am not the only one). I don’t know why I just don’t trust them with the hygiene, even if the towels are washed they are still using the same cream from the same tub on everyone. But the new Aroma Magic passion flower massage cream lets me give a facial to myself at my home sweet home. Let’s go ahead with the review and see how it treats my skin.

Aroma Magic Claims: I am 100% free of petrochemicals, phthalates, toxic ingredients, artificial coloring and fragrances. I am a multi benefit massage cream packed with the goodness of PRO vitamin B5, avocado oil and the passion flower seed oil which is rich in vitamins, phosphorus and calcium. Together they relax and ease muscle tension while deeply nourishing your skin. The blend of lilly of the valley and lavender essential oils helps calm and delight your senses. The extract of apple and lime being rich in antioxidants combine to leave you with a lighter and brighter complexion.

Directions: Apply the cream onto the skin and massage gently. Wipe away any excess cream after the massage with a damp cotton.

My Review of Aroma Magic Cream:

Aroma Magic massage cream has a thick texture and becomes oily after massaging into the skin which I guess is good for a massage cream. I use it to give myself a facial at home.

Here is how I use Aroma Magic Passion Flower Massage Cream:

  • I clean my face with my regular face wash
  • Then I exfoliate using a facial scrub
  • Then comes the turn of this massage cream, I massage my face for five minutes using circular and upward motion.
  • After wiping off the excess cream from my face I follow apply my face mask, and rinse my face.

Adding this Blossom Kochhar massage cream into my clean up routine has made a great difference. I don’t get any dry patches even after using the face mask which used to make my skin really dry. It adds a glow to the skin, removes tanning and leaves the skin soft and fresh. It smells like lavender which I find very relaxing. If you have dry skin you must add it to your clean up routine, it’ll take care of the moisture loss after exfoliation and make your face mask even more nourishing.

People with oily skin can skip this. I wish they come up with a massage gel for oily skin. At first I used it every week, but I feel using it once in every two weeks will be more than enough. You know over pampering your skin can spoil it. Just kidding! But I read somewhere that facials should be done only once or twice a month.

Packaging: It comes in a white and purple plastic tub packaging, nothing too fancy. The tub is really sturdy and travel friendly.

Fragrance: It has strong lavender fragrance and something else which I cannot describe. The fragrance is overpowering, it fades away with time but not completely. Therefore people with sensitive nose may not like it.

Good Things about Aroma Magic Passion Flower Massage Cream:

  • Didn’t break me out (I have acne prone combination skin)
  • Free from harsh chemicals and packed with natural ingredients.
  • Removes tanning effectively.
  • Texture is nice for a massage cream, only a little amount is required.
  • People with dry skin will love it.

Not So Good Things about Aroma Magic Passion Flower Massage Cream:

  • Fragrance is overpowering at first and may irritate people with sensitive nose.
  • Not suitable for people with oily skin.

Recommendation: If you have dry skin or you’re curious about massage creams you can give it a try. I does its job well. If you have oily skin you can skip this. Overall I am happy with this cream for its effect on the dry parts of my face but the weather is becoming sticky and so is my skin, therefore I am going to save it for winters.
