Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walked the red carpet for the Inside Llewyn Davis premiere at the Cannes Film Festival 2013 in an Elie Saab Spring 2013 Couture gown. The shimmering black lace gown is pretty and the world is going gaga over the look with “finally Aishwarya nails it” printed everywhere. But I–okay don’t get me wrong and I don’t hate her–but I didn’t go “OMG!” with it. Its not bad but it isn’t that good either. Its so dark and mysterious and its black. And currently I’m in a neon phase so its just boring to me. I know I should probably get myself checked!
The gown was customized for Aishwarya. The sleeves were added and the belt was removed. The wavy locks falling on her shoulders are just too heavy for the whole look. Its interfering with all the intrictae detailing. An updo would have worked better.
The makeup is all L’Oreal. Here is the makeup breakdown for you. To get the look, use L’Oreal True Match foundation, Volume Million Lashes mascara, L’Oreal Super liner, True Match blush in Pink Grapefruit, Color Rich Palette Velours Noir and Colour Riche Matte Mania Silky Toffee.

I think Ash's look in the Cannes has become very predictable-she sticks to pale shaded gowns with smokey eyes and nude lips!!!
