This year VNA went a little low on fashion weeks. I didn’t cover the Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2013 and now its already Day 5 of Delhi Couture Week. And before I can blink PR mails of India International Jewellery Week inauguration have started pouring in. It gets so confusing! I forget who’s who and who’s showing what. Why do they keep all these fashion weeks together. Delhi is so high on bridal and couture that I want to run away. But what made me stop and have a look is the Manish Malhotra’s pre-historic 1930s inspired collection at the ongoing PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2013. This one has a royal British touch with lots of velvet and blue tones. Finally
Manish shows us something different! All his previous collection were getting monotonous with his usual soft romantic touch.
Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan walked the ramp as show stoppers at the show. Here I am sharing some of my favourite pieces.
Really loving this nude anarkali with royal blue dupatta
I am generally not a big fan of red bridal lehengas but this one is worth a dekho
Okay not really my favourite
His collection this year was big on backless blouses and cuts
The left orange lehenga/gown is pretty!
Gorgeous! The colour, the work, the neckless…..everything is mind blowing. Not really wearable but good to look at
I will share with you if I find anything worth talking about in the upcoming shows.
Mr. malhotra dazzled the show with 1930’s inspired wedding collection and some famous name of bollywood big shots as he has a quite decent list of them in his clientele.
Wonderful beat ! I would like to apprentice whilst you amend your site, how could i subscribe for a blog site? The account helped me a applicable deal. I have been a little bit familiar of this your broadcast provided shiny clear idea
