From malls to designer boutiques every place offers something beautiful for both bridal wear and regular Indian wear. Since a lot of you are from Bangalore it makes sense I talk about the top shops and boutiques in Bangalore for ethnic shopping, both designer as well as cheap and affordable. I won’t regale anymore, take a look at these stores of Bangalore.
This boutique is a brainchild of the husband wife duo, Neha and Pradeep Hirani. It was launched in Mumbai and now it’s spread across all major cities of India including Delhi, Bangalore, Lucknow, Gurgaon, Ludhiana and Surat. They offer uber luxury collection from leading designers not only from India but overseas as well.
Here they create clothes for contemporary urban woman. Fashioned from a wide range of exquisite hand-picked fabrics- cotton, chiffon, silks, voile and sarees from various locations across India. They retail sarees, stitched suits, kurtis & leggings, unstiched suits etc.
established in the year 2005 by Anjali Sharma, an alumnus of India’s NIFT, French Curve is today one of the leading niche fashion studio in the country offering a line of high end, ready to wear western clothes for women. Studio produces exclusive bridal and traditional wear along with the westerns. Products are exclusively sold at Bangalore studio, but products are shipped worldwide.
Tamanna is a bridal and prêt-a-porter couture, multi-designer store in Bangalore with a wide variety of wedding trousseau. Started in 1995, it’s serving its customers the best of Indian bridal wear for both the bride and the groom. They have varied option for sarees, lehengas, blouses, unstitched suits and a large range for men too.
This boutique is a hub of Christian style gowns. Of course any bride can choose to wear it, as today’s woman are much more experimental. This boutique has a wide range of patterns, styles, embellishments and fabric to choose from. In order to serve unique taste of each individual, they also source from designers across the globe, including Asia and Australia.
This boutique offers extremely wearable yet those which stand out clothes. Many sought after designers stock their fashion at Cinnamon. It offers sarees by weavers from Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh to keep up the dying tradition.
They describe themselves as stylish, avant-garde, funky, feminine and elegant. They have pretty updated garment selection in their stores. Their style is- “the wearable art”. Craft of the centuries, reviving techniques, creating sensuous fabrics, this is all they do. Essentially they have everything from new to familiar brands across India.
The sakhi story is woven by mother-daughter duo- Chandra Rajendra and Neetu. Sakhi is a well known chain with three stores in Bangalore, Hyderabad and an online one. Sakhi’s creations are designed keeping in mind the modern woman and her idea if wearable fashion. Except clothes they have a variety of classic accessories, bags and clutches also.

Hi Uzma.. The list is fine but I feel there are lot more stores/couture studios in bangalore who sell good good ethnic & bridal wear though they are not famous coz of their low marketing.. I personally feel ZAINA in jaynagar & Jaheena will occupy a better position in the list coz of their exclusive products & low pricing.. Thanks

After searching from some of the elite stores I got my beautifully designed gown from Zaina I recommend a must visit to this store
