L’Oreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipsticks Swatches for Indian Skin – Resilient Raisin, Persistent Plum, Ravishing Red, Charismatic Coral, Always Apricot, Forever Fuchsia
By Contributor: Agnirupa
Firstly, this is gonna be a picture-heavy and description-light post! I got sent 6 spiffing brand new shades (o em ggg) of the newly launched l’oreal infallible le rouge range of lipsticks (yeahh I cant get over the shock either) by my lovely Ansh. I received them yesterday evening and felt you shouldn’t be kept waiting. So here are my first impressions before the reviews start! Yepp I have swatches too! The shades I have with me are Charismatic Coral, Always Apricot, Forever Fuchsia, Resilient Raisin, Persistent Plum, Ravishing Red. This Infallible lipstick range hit the stores in India a few years back with similar names so let’s see if the formula and shades have changed too or is it just the packaging.
L’Oreal Paris Claims: L‘Oréal Paris introduces 15 gorgeous new shades of Infallible Lipsticks. From subdued neutrals to lively, vibrant shades, now enjoy 10 hours of vivid, high definition colour and shine. Looking for a Lipstick that makes it through your morning coffee and lasts till your evening wine? Do you have complaints like– too sticky, too dull, fades easily – while choosing a lip product? L’Oréal Paris has found a solution to your lip color woes. L’Oréal Paris introduces 15 gorgeous new shades of Infallible Lip Colour
for luxurious, comfortable and long lasting lip colour. The new range boasts of classic favorites updated with a broad spectrum of exciting new colors, from subdued neutrals to lively, vibrant shades. Now enjoy 10 hours of vivid, high definition colour of your choice, whilst the hydrating vitamin E keeps your lips moist and relaxed. Based on L’Oréal Paris’ Color Bond Technology formula, Infallible Lipstick contains a combination of silicon micro spheres that ensure only the richest lip colour is left on a woman’s lips. This exceptional formula fused with an expansive palette of hues promises a lip look for any desired occasion from a delicate whisper of color to a vibrant red.
I was mesmerized by the new smart color-coded packaging of this range. The lipstick tubes come with a sturdy colored plastic transparent cap by which you can tell your lipsticks apart! Go l’oreal! I saw in the press note around 15 shades among which I have a whooping 6!
So here goes the swatches of the L’Oreal Le Rouge Infallible Lipsticks:
1. Loreal 829 Resilient Raisin:
this is the only shade which came with its tip knocked flat in transit. But otherwise its fine. True to its name, it is indeed a raisin-brown colour with rich maroon tones. Ideal for the upcoming fall (don’t forget the numerous weddings with it)
2. Loreal 737 Persistent Plum:
contrary to its name, its not plum. It is instead, a very rich terracotta maroon leaning on brown..yeahh Resilient Raisin and Persistent Plum look really similar in swatches!
3. Loreal 312 ravishing red:
a gorgeous rich rich red I am dying to try out in my looks. Its very me! I dislike tomato reds.
4. Loreal 421 Charismatic Coral:
oopsie.. I am scared of corals! Umm especially when it looks like a cross between morange and lady danger. Nope its not coral at all! A bright popping orange with reddish tones.
5. Loreal 425 Always apricot:
haye ram why couldn’t have l’oreal called it always orange?? This is pure fanta orange! Ala morange! Again Charismatic Coral and Always apricot look pretty much the same in swatches.
6. Loreal 138 Forever Fuchsia
the only pink in my bunch, this is such a gorgeous bright hot pink! Reminds me of my darling Impassioned!
Texture of L’Oreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipsticks:
I loved the rich, creamy, smooth texture of these and I applied only a single swipe on my hands so you can see how pigmented they are! When I tried to rub off after clicking pics, they put up a pretty good fight! I still have the marks! So must be long lasting too. The price is pretty cruel though.
Will be back super soon with individual detailed reviews and swatches along with how they look on my Indian skin! Till then, byeee..keep drooling! Do tell me which shade you want to see reviewed first.
Price: whoa! A whopping Rs.999 each

Wow.. lovely swatches- charismatic coral, always apricot and forever fuchsia are my fav !
first of all I am a fan of your reviews, they are so much fun to read. i’m quite excited about this range. on a side note I would like to say ur reviews are the best here but I have been noticing flash photos which alter the colours. plz don’t do that! another thing, I am not a big fan of the green background you shoot with. other than that I am your fan. hope you wont mind a little advice and take it in the right spirit.
Hey poooja! Firstly thank u so much fr ur valuable feedback :) its fr u guys i write who appreciate my hard work in my posts :* As for the flash pics, i always put daylight pics first and sometimes follow with flash pics to bring out proper undertones of the shades or glitter :) notice in the swatch pic the red shows its true tone with flash only otherwise it doesnt ! Otherwise of course for how the shade looks on somebody the natural light pics are first priority <3 And as for background dear, this is the only window sill in my flat with good focus and light :/ taking clicks on the terrace or verandah changes every color! Please suggest a solution for better backgrounds! Lots of love!
With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My site has a lot of unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any techniques to help reduce content from being stolen? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a amazing job with this.
Also, the blog loads very quick for me on Chrome. Exceptional Blog!
Howdy! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
