My french is a little weak (who am I kidding, its close to non existent) so I had to actually google La Vie En Rose to see what exactly does it mean. It means Life in Pink which seems perfect for a Valentine collection. You must have already seen the little teaser post on the new L’Oreal Paris collection. They recently launched a new exclusive pink collection for Valentine called the L’Oreal Paris Collection Star Pink Lipsticks La Vie En Rose range in India. This range has 7 moist matte lipsticks, 5 extraordinaire lip colors and 3 nail paints all named after the L’Oreal Paris brand ambassadors. I will review and swatch the entire range today.

From India you get Aishwarya, Sonam and Katrina. I love the idea of launching star inspired shades which they did previously with Star Red collection which has some of my favourite L’Oreal lipsticks ever.

The la vie en rose exclusive pink matte lipstick collection has 7 shades of Moist Matte lipsticks by L’Oreal Paris

. These are all named after the L’Oreal brand ambassadors they are inspired from. The formula is like the Moist Matte Color Riche lipsticks range which is comfortable to apply and sets to a satin matte finish. A few shades in this range have pretty low pigmentation and tend to look patchy when applied without exfoliating the lips. So proper lip routine is recommended with these. Lets get on to the swatches of these matte pink star lipsticks.

From left to right:

Star Collection J Lo’s Pink: A sheer warm berry lipstick perfect for deeper Indian skin tones. When I saw the bullet I thought I wouldn’t be able to pull it off but it translated to a beautiful berry shade on lips. The shimmer isn’t visible on lips.

L’Oreal Paris Blake’s Pink: A peach coral pink with golden shimmer. I would recommend this shade to lighter Indian skin tones. Swatches a little patchy to use it with a lip brush for an even finish.

L’Oreal Paris Doutzen’s Pink: A very beautiful bright blue based pink. Unarguably one of my favourite shades from this exclusive star collection range for Valentine. Would recommend it to fair to medium Indian skin tones. Its such a pick me up!

Star Collection Liya’s Pink: A bright reddish pink with golden shimmer. Another stunning shade from the matte pink collection by Loreal Paris. I would recommend this shade to all Indian skin tones.

L’Oreal Paris Aishwarya’s Pink: A soft nude pink shade with subtle shimmer. Tends to apply a little patchy so proper exfoliation of lips is recommended. Recommended for lighter Indian skin tones. Works beautifully with bright outfits.

Star Collection Eva’s Pink: This is such an everyday brown pink for medium to darker Indian skin tones. Totally recommend this shade for office, college and even parties paired with smokey eyes. Again one of my favourite shades from the range. Very easy to pull off.

Star Collection Naomi’s Pink: This is a beige nude pink shade suitable for very fair Indian skin tones. Tends to get patchy. Recommended with heavy or smokey eye makeup or under warm lipglosses.

L’Oreal Paris Collection Star Pink Extraordinaire Mat Lip Colors Review, Swatches, Price in India

This exclusive pink range also has the popular extraordinaire lipglosses in 5 shades inspired by L’Oreal Paris ambassadors. The matte black packaging looks very classy and I personally loved these extraordinaire liquid lipsticks the best in this range. The formula is good and applies very comfortably, sets to a satin matte finish and doesn’t budge for hours. The shade selection is also very good. Let’s move on to the swatches of these star pink extraordinaire lip colors.

Collection Star Pink Sonam’s Azalea: A very beautiful coral pink. Totally recommend this shade to light to medium Indian skin tones.

Collection Star Pin Katrina’s Orchid: A bright barbie pink which will flatter lighter to medium Indian skin tones beautifully. Would look stunning with black outfits.

Collection Star Pink Fan Bingbing’s Peony: A milky pink shade which would flatter lighter Indian skin tones.

Collection Star Pink Gong Li’s Lilac: A milky peachy pink suitable for lighter Indian skin tones.

Collection Star Pink Julianne’s Magnolia: A very stunning berry pink. Would look stunning on medium to darker Indian skin tones. Also this is my favourite shade from the star collection matte pink range. I’m wearing this everyday.

This la vie en rose collection also has 3 pink nail paints. Isn’t it a first time a brand has launched complimenting nail paints with lipsticks in India? I think more and more brands should start doing this. The shades are:
