Eye shadow is one such piece that can instantly add a lot of drama to your whole look. Nothing adds spice than a beautifully done eye. You can play with vibrant colors that match your attire or choose subtle shades to tone down. Eye shadows gives you complete freedom to experiment with different looks. My favourite eyeshadows belong to the neutral and warm nude colour family because they go with every colour and occasion. Be it school or office, a few carefully picked picked warm neutral shades are all you need to complete your warm eyeshadow palette
Topping the list is Brule – a happy hue of beige, this one is one of the prettiest warm eye shadows from MAC. A very classy color, it is a great office wear shade choice. Subtle yet elegant! One stroke and you are good to so.
Isn’t the name tempting enough? Butterscotch will make you fall in love with itself. The warm tone and the creamy texture makes it a perfect neutral eye shadow . It is an ideal color to perfectly compliment the Indian skin tone. Plus its matte!
Shroom by MAC falls somewhere between beige and a light grey. It has a shimmery tinge that makes it all the more irresistible. The deep color pigments bring out a superb effect in just a single stroke. It is a neutral color and makes for a great highlighter. The smooth texture of course is an added advantage.
A slightly darker shade, Soba by MAC is from the brown family. Imagine the color of a delicious coconut cookie – that’s Soba from MAC for you. Pretty and charming! With hints of gold and shimmer, you can easily blend this eye shadow with blues, greens and pinks to create a festive look.
Ricepaper is a great shade for using as an highlighter because of the undertones of gold that it has! It is an impressive color for day wear. It also makes for a perfect color for brow bone highlighting. It is a shimmery light peach shade with a gold hue that certainly adds to the overall look.
The mild hue of Vapour by Mac is subtle yet very alluring. It is a peachy pink shade that complements the fair Indian skin tones perfectly. A perfect amalgamation of drama and mildness, it can be worn both during the day and night.
A warm beige color that is ideal for both work as well as parties, Retrospeck has the charm to become your favorite. A bleached beige color that combines the sheen of slight gold and silver, it is warm and vividly bright. One stroke smooth application, rich intense color and non-flaky, well what else can you ask for? Karen of MBB swears by it!
If I had to describe romance using a make-up product, I would choose Honey Lust. The color is subtle yet enchanting. With undertones of earthy brown, Honey Lust will surely win your heart. It is a peachy bronze color with shimmer pigments. Apply multiple strokes for added drama! A fun festive shade for Indian weddings.
Adding to list of warm/neutral eye shadows is Omega. It is a vivid nude color that would match all your moods and outfits. It is a biscuit brown color that can be used as a crease shade to blend with other colors. A really good matte shade for blending for medium to dusky girls.
Last but certainly not the least is Orb. An absolute classic warm eye shadow that has a tinge of copper which makes it festive and adds a tad bit of bling. The matte beige look makes it classy and at the same time gives you the freedom to experiment.
Since Indian skin is comprised of a wide array of tones so its not easy to pick just one. Each of these recommended shades are beautiful and you would definitely find one for yourself. Neutral tones are what I stick to most of the times.. as they are easy to carry and perfect for daily wear ! Gotta get a couple of more shades from this list !
