Nice post! Henna is such an integral part of Indian Haircare! I remember using Jawed Habib Henna which used to impart intense reddish tinge to my dark hair, as if I have colored them!
Yeah, henna usage is popular in India from ancient times. Even my grandmother used it for thicker, stronger hair.
I simply love using the Khadi Natural Henna. Great post!
Khadi hennai is great and 100% natural.
I prefer using the Biotique Bio Henna Fresh Powder Hair Color for Dark Hair. works best for me..
Yes, Biotique works well for dark hair but doesn't cover greys well...
Nice compilation, i have used natures, vlcc and godrej nupur out of these, and like the nature's one best.
Thanks, Rajni. It was interesting to compile this list and also read in the comments of what everyone uses for coloring.
I use Godrej Nupur henna and I absolutely love it. Adds light colour and moisturises your tresses well.
Yes, Godrej Nupur is the most popular one and very good results too...
Never knew so many brands provide henna powder!
i use nupur its my fav!
Is nupur 100% safe and natural? Can if be used only for conditioning rather than coloring ......as I don't want to color my hair
Is there any other henna which is natural and cheap also?
Yes, it's 100% safe. I myself have been using it for many years.
Nice post, I prefer using henna to hair color.
I have used Nupur mehandi... thanks for sharing :)
I've known of henna powders and their properties to make hair strong, silky and bit colored. Most popular is the Nupur one. I guess they are the safer options when you want to color your hair and hate those harsh chemicals.
