Tutorial: How to Angelina Jolie Pitt Wedding Day Inspired Makeup Look

So after all those year of being in a relationship and adopting kids, finally came  the day when the Hollywood heartthrobs Brad Pitt and Angelina jolie got married in a silent French escape wedding with their family and kids, it was really touching. And the talk of the entire world was her wedding gown with the veil full of drawings made by their kids. That was super cute even though to me those drawings looked more like fridge magnets than something to be included in dress, whatsoever it made everything 10 times more cute and personalized along with her muted wedding makeup that was talk of the beauty blogging world.

With very limited  pictures being displayed decoding Angelina Jolie’s bridal makeup look became a quest for makeup artists, youtube gurus and beauty bloggers. So for VNA readers I have tried to recreate the soft smokey brown eye makeup and iconic nude lip wedding look. Initially it was kind of difficult to guess as there were not any clear or closeup pictures but I figured it out to be a muted plumy brown smoked out eye and a jolie patent nude lip. So lets move on to the wedding makeup tutorial

Angeline Jolie Eye Makeup Tutorial:

Step 1: priming your eyes (I used becca cosmetics compact concealer, this doesn’t crease) and highlighting your brow bone

Step 2: with a fluffy angled brush (mac 275) take a matte dark brown mixed with a matte purple shade and place it into the crease and outer V, this creates depth and sculpts. Blend well.

Step 3: Now on a flat shader brush (mac 233) take a light  mauve colour mixed with a matte light brown and place it over the lid. Mind that this should not overlap the dark colour in the crease and outer V.

Step 4: now with a big fluffy brush (real techniques setting brush) take a matte light pink shade. You can use a blush like I have and mix it with a brown colour that’s close to your skin tone. Use this a transition shade and blend seamlessly the dark crease colour that we applied in step 2 so that no harsh lines remain. We take up this transition to the upper immovable lid and stop below the brow bone highlight.

Step 5: now take a matte dark brown eye shadow on a liner brush. You can also use any dark brown liner and put it in outer 3/4^th  of your waterline and smudge it so that it doesn’t stand as discreet line.

Step 6: now do the same thing on your upper lid very close to the lash line create a small cat eye in the outer eye don’t drag it all the way in and smudge it very lightly.

Step 7: on a tiny brush take a shimmery or metallic light purple colour and place it in your tear duct/inner corner to brighten up the eyes and make them look more awake.

Step 8 : curl your lashes using an eyelash curler and then apply generously your favourite mascara. I have used benefit they are real and Maybelline falsies.

Step 10: a) line your lips with a nude lip liner also fill in the outer 1/4^th of your edges with it (used lakme 9 to 5 liner brick rose)

b) grab your favourite slightly coraly nude lipstick and apply it all over (I mixed mac taupe and streetwear pink) Be sure to use matte lipsticks here as Angelina’s lips are classic matte nude

Step by step tutorial For the face: Angeline Wedding Inspired Makeup

For the face I have concealed my under eyes using mac studio finish concealer and becca cosmetics compact concealer. Then I went over with my only and love my life foundation mac face and body in C3 and applied all over, as Angelina always has a luminous face. Not extra glowy like JLO but luminous so used this dewy finish foundation.

Then I went ahead and contoured my cheek bones and jawline  and nose for the sculpted jolie face ( my chubby cheeks refused to look like mrs.pitt anyway) For contouring you can use any matte bronzer or a matte brown eye shadow like me (mac folie eye shadow) Then I added a warm pink blush (stila cosmetics : Parisian pink) very light handedly and set every thing with mac studio fix powder foundation

. Then added a highlight (Revlon skin lights) on highpoints of my cheek, tip of my nose) I highlighted the bridge of my nose using the becca cosmetics concealer and tadaaa I am done.
