Top 10: Best Kareena Kapoor Eye Makeup Looks, Ideas
Since I always love taking inspiration from Bebo for eye makeup looks and I love to recreate what I see her sporting, I though of sharing some of my top favorite eye makeup looks that Kareena Kapoor has worn so far. These are handsdown my ultimate top makeup looks on her that flatter her whole face even more and these are the eye makeup looks that I would personally love to wear. From Kurbaan to Jab We Met, kajal to smokey eyes, she has done it all. So keep scrolling the list to check these out!
It’s a fact that someone’s clothes are the first thing you notice, but their face is what you remember. So what kind of makeup someone was wearing/ not wearing thereof can change your views about that person in a great way. Same happens with our favorite celebrities. Their makeup looks can totally make or break their entire look. If they opt for a busy outfit and go for a full on smokey eye and red lips, chances are you’ll cringe just by looking at their photo. But if the same celebrity is wearing a decent and simple outfit but the said celebrity balanced out the whole look with some nice accessories, soft smokey eyes and a red lip, you won’t want to take your eyes off their picture.
Although I love to check out what different celebrities are wearing and what makeup they have opted for with their overall look, there is one celebrity whom I love stalking (guilty, as charged) the most. She is but obviously our fave- Bebo a.k.a Kareena Kapoor. At some point or another she has opted for every single eye makeup look you can imagine- be it the soft smokey eye look, a heavy smokey eye, dark and thick kohl worn as a liner on the upper eye lids, warm / neutral eye makeup look, soft pink/ purple eye makeup look, and with her latest Lakme adverts, the very techno-forward kind of eye makeup too.
1. The soft smokey eyes with peachy lips and cheeks
I love this look on Kareena Kapoor. It is the kind of makeup look that we see her wearing most often. And it is super easy to recreate too- just take a black kohl, line your upper lid, take some black shadow on a fluffy brush and blend, blend, blend! There you go, an easy and super gorgeous smokey eye in less than a minute.
2. The grey-bronze eye makeup look with bold kajal
I love how wearable this eye makeup look is. It is also very versatile. So whatever occasion you are going to, you don’t need to spend hours thinking what kind of eye makeup to do. Just this super easy and super pretty eye makeup like Kareena- Apply some dark brown in the crease, now taking a silver/ bronze pigment, blend it on the lid. To finish off, boldly line your lower waterline to give it the signature Kareena look and you’re good to go!
3. The classic Winged eye liner
In my opinion, there’s nothing more se*y on Kareena than a clean and basic winged eye liner. This eye makeup looks like you put in a lot of effort into it whereas once you get the hang of it, it would become almost like a habit. Love how she’s kept the eye shadow very natural and gone for a bold red-orange lip with the winged eye liner.
4. The smudged kohl with a tiny bit of shimmer
For those of you who love to recreate Kareena’s eye makeup looks, this one would be right up your street. You can wear this kind of a look with your Indian attire and this would also go really well with western attire with a matte lipstick.
5. The simple college – girl eye makeup look
This eye makeup look of Kareena’s made it to my listof best eye makeup looks on her because well, it is the look I recreate on literally a daily basis. I am college girl and this is the most fuss- free makeup look to wear on a day to day basis. Just put on some kajal in your lower water line, take some brown eye shadow and lightly shade your eye lids and done!
6. The barely-there eye liner with no kohl
This is the look that Kareena wore in a Lakme ad and I absolutely fell in love with this look of hers when I saw the ad for the first time. If you want to go for rosy cheeks and keep the attention on your bright lips, this is the perfect eye makeup look to go for. Just shade your eye lids a neutral tone of pink, then make it a bit peachy and apply a medium coat of eye liner on the top lids, leaving the lower waterline completely bare. Oh, and dont forget the mascara!
7. The full on smokey eye look with a somewhat tanned face
I love this overall look a lot! Kareena looks like a total diva. She has gone for a full on smokey eye on the top lids of her eyes but on the lower waterline, she skipped the kohl, which was a good idea since she was going for such a bright lip. Although, looks like she did apply a tone of mascara coats on those lower lashes. Definitely a look I’d love to wear.
8. The classic Kurbaan look
In the movie Kurbaan, Kareena wore the same eye make up look all through out- dark kohl on both upper and lower waterlines. She completely rocked this look and this was around the time when Maybelline had just launched their colossal kajal in India, so I remember wearing the same look very frequently (taking inspiration from Kareena, of course).
9. The classic Cat eye look
This eye makeup looks really neat on Kareena. It looks really fresh too. This is something any girl would love to wear with her Indian as well as western attires. It is the eye makeup look that I personally wear the most whenever I have to head out to some place fancy. Just apply your eye liner the regular way, give it a cat-eye like flick and add a couple coats of lengthening mascara.
10. The smokey green eye makeup
When the Lakme Eyeconic kohls came out, the color that I was most excited about was this green one. Kareena looks absolutely gorgeous with this eye makeup and I love how she’s done a cat eye flick with the kajal itself and then smoked out the same kajal to bottom waterline’s 2/3rd part. Looks absolutely stunning!
So these were my top favorite eye makeup looks that Kareena Kapoor has ever worn. She is one of those actresses who’s always very well put together and her makeup is always on fleek. Which one of the above listed eye makeup looks was your favorite? Tell me in the comments below!
