My Review
So this is by one of my favorite brands Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula. I love their products and have been using it diligently for the past couple of months. However, I never bothered to use their firming butter until now which has left me thinking why not?!
I personally prefer pumps because they are much easier to use and dispose the product quite easily. The texture of this body butter is quite thick. However Palmer’s firming butter survives the pumping action and comes out pretty smooth and thick. It smells amazing (traditional cocoa butter scent, but not as strong as Palmer’s regular cocoa butter lotion). It has a rich chocolatey smell that lingers for quite some time but also dissipates quickly so avoid if you don’t like strong smells.
It soaks in quickly but makes my skin soft with no greasy residue. It is very moisturizing and you can see the results of it on your skin just within few days. The firming butter does not do much on stretch marks but its not the lotion’s fault but stretch marks are usually too stubborn to fade away that quickly. I will give it some more time to prove itself in that department. I do not believe that it has a particular firming effect but then again no cream on its own can do that. After using this though, your skin is very well moisturized with a ever-so-slight sheen to it so it definitely looks better. The quantity of the cocoa butter lotion is good enough to last you for a good couple of months. I would recommend using it overnight for optimum results. It has an immediate moisturizing effect on the skin.

Conclusion: Just a really nice every day lotion that seems to improve the texture of your skin, just as it promises on the bottle. Will continue to purchase! I love the fragrance; I love the after-effects the palmer’s firming butter has on the skin. It firms the skin and makes it look much much better! To be honest I cannot find any reason why you shouldn’t place this as your new everyday or in my case overnight body lotion!

I thought I could use this in summers as a substitute to the body butter but its too heavy.
I love the warm vanilla scent though <3
