My Review of Medimix Ayurvedic Natural Glycerine Soap:
Medimix Glycerine Soap comes in a small cardboard packaging, further wrapped in a sealed plastic. The packaging is exactly like any other normal soaps and rather simple. The soap bar is translucent light in color and has a very smooth waxy texture when you touch it. With the rectangular shape, it is very convenient to hold the soap bar rather than the round or curvy ones which tends to slip out. The aroma is something worth praising – it has a soapy fragrance but enriched with various Ayurvedic and essential oils. Although the aroma evaporates within an hour of bathing but makes the skin refreshing. It is a kind of aroma you come across in Ayurvedic beauty sessions
The medimix soap produces nice lather when used alone as well as with a loofah. I have used with both for my body and face and I must say, it has a pleasing experience to try this. With the onset of winter, my skin started showing certain signs of dryness no matter how many body washes I have tried. However, with this one the results were completely different. The glycerin soap made my skin smooth and soft and I noticed the dryness was cured to a large extent. This is due to the presence of Lakshadi Oil and Glycerin which moisturizes the skin thoroughly. The transparent soap has other benefits like curative in skin diseases, anti-bacterial, and anti-acne due to the presence of Turmeric, Ashvagandha, Deodar, Nut grass, Murva and other Ayurvedic ingredients. It also imparts a slight brightness to the face and body due to presence of Licorice.
The results of the bath soap on my face was equally satisfying. I suffer from acne on a regular basis and redness, dry flakes and irritation are my constant accompany during winter. It cleans the skin thoroughly of any dirt, grime and residual makeup effectively. The medimix ayurvedic soap works great on my skin in keeping the acne at bay. It does prevent a lot of breakouts and also dries the existing ones, although it takes a little time. It never dries out my skin and even a light moisturizer is enough for seal the hydration. The lather washes off easily by splashing water and leaves the skin smooth, soft and supple as opposed to any harsh bath soaps available in the market.
The soap bar is also a product which is value for money. The medimix bar is rather big but only costs a minimum of 45bucks which can be used for both body and face. It also doesn’t melt away like any other soap bar and hence a little amount goes a long way for this. The product is Cruelty free and vegan and hence not tested on animals.
