Maybelline Color Sensational Bold Matte Lipstick MAT 02

Neon! I love neon colors, they being so bold and bright. So I got this very bright neon yellow top last week and wore it to college today. My marketing sir called me “chamkeeli” in the lecture, everybody was laughing and I was like errr don’t you guys know how trendy neon is? Well I guess they don’t and probably never will.
So my love for neon and bold pushed me to buy the new Maybelline Bold Matte Lipsticks. I saw MAT 03 on Anshita and since then after every 2 days I have been checking if the lipsticks were available or not and finally after all the desperate waiting and hardwork, I laid my
Maybelline Claims:
- Hydrating matte with honey nectar
- Moisturising agents like rosa canina oil and jojoba oil
- Powderless matte pigments ensure true vivid shades.
Maybelline MAT2 is a bright reddish coral with warm tones which screams summer. I thought it would be a bold color, but rather it is very wearable. The pigmentation is good, 2 swipes and ta da, its opaque. It covers my lip pigmentation. The best part is, it can be worn to its full power as well as sheerly. I totally love this neon bright lipstick.
The lipstick has a semi matte texture which is very moisturising. Lip balms are not at all required. The lipstick glides on easily. It never feels sticky or heavy. It feels very light on the lips and never dries them. The staying power is amazing considering the moisturising quality. It stays on easily for 4-5 hours and then fades leaving behind a beautiful stain which will not go until removed. So these are long staying too.
The packaging is same as the old color sensational lipsticks apart from the matte case and a small mirror on top of the case, which makes the application easier if you’re out.
Pros of Maybelline Bold Matte Lipstick:
- Pretty coral red shade which would suit all Indian skin tones.
- Semi matte texture which never dries my lips.
- Super smooth and glides on easly
- Long staying. Stays put on me for 5-6 hours easily.
- No need for a lip balm.
- Feels very light on lips
