MAC Creme In Your Coffee Review, Swatches
By Contributor: Agnirupa Acharyya
Its right in the middle of the festive season and specially for us bongs this is the time to let go of everything muted and toned down and jump ahead with bright in-your-face colors and that’s mostly what I did these few days with my bright pinks and reds ruling all the way! But believe me when you have got an entire day’s pandal hopping on your agenda while you bake and sweat in the sun and lose most of your lipstick while slurping iceez/colas or just snacking on unhealthy food we do tend to go back to our fail-safe neutral family lipsticks such as mocha, retro and twig which are oh-so easy to touch up and wear through the day and that is where one of my hot-shots steps in- the very yummy sounding- Creme In Your Coffee by Mac Cosmetics. Let’t start the review and swatch fest!
MAC Claims: MAC describes the lipstick as a Mid-tone pinkish brown in cremesheen finish.
Creme In Your Coffee, as MAC aptly describes is a pinkish brown indeed and has a lovely neutral undertone to it which makes it so popular amongst ladies of any type of undertone or complexion! It works on all levels- a casual lunch, a romantic dinner date to complement smoky eyes and on fair or dusky beauties alike. It does not wash you out, does not make you look ill and is easy to touch up because of its creamy finish.
The texture is one of my favorites along with my lustre finishes. Cremesheens are not as dry as mattes yet very pigmented and are glossy but not as much as lustres and thus doesn’t fade so quickly. Its creamy, smooth and light to apply wih awesome pigmentation and gives its true color on lips in a couple of swipes!
As for lasting power, cremesheens score quite high and so does this 1! In spite of being a muted color it holds its own end through 3-4 hours easily withstanding water and snacks. The lipstick comes in the regular MAC black and silver tube with a tight cap which makes it easy to slip in any handbag and carry.

VNA Rating: 5/5
Do I recommend? Mac Creme In Your Coffee is one of those rare shades which does not look odd on most of us Indian beauties. The pinkish hint on the brown sets it apart from typical browny nudes which make me look quite ill at least. I would recommend this lipstick purely for its combination of a creamy glossy finish and lovely wearable colour which can be worn everywhere and every single day! So pick this 1 up the next time you guys go to a MAC store girls, you won’t regret it! Promise!
