Lakme 9 to 5 Long Wear Nail Color Oak Room
By Contributor: Shruti Gupta
What is your upper limit when it comes to nail paints? Mine is 200 bucks and the new Lakme 9 to 5 nail paints manage to just fall into it…..on the line! Although the gel stylist nail paints are way off my limits (no matter how much I need to control myself after watching Kareena Kapoor in the TV ad with her glossy gel red manicure). But today’s review is on the Long Wear nail colors which are a great budget option for us college girls. The shade I’ve is Oak Room. I GOT it after Anshita swatched the shade Candy Power.
Oak Room is a warm brown shade. It is perfect for days when your outfit takes center stage and you want something mild for your nails. The shade looks good on my fair complexion. But it would suit equally well on all Indian skin tones. It goes opaque in a couple of coats.
It lasts for 3-4 days without chipping. I like the brush. It applies well on my wide nails. The quality does justice to the price.
Pros of Lakme 9 to 5 Long Wear Nail Color:
- A nice brown shade.
- Good quality brush.
- Goes opaque in 2 coats.
- Stays for a week with minor chipping.
Cons of Lakme 9 to 5 Nail Color:
- Nothing really!
VNA Rating: 4.5/5
So is it for you? Lakme 9 to 5 Long Wear Nail Color Oak Room is a warm brown shade that goes with my yellow Indian complexion. It doesn’t look dull or muddy. It goes opaque in two coats and the brush is quite good. It stays on my hands for 3-4 days without a top coat. A great budget option and I highly recommend them.
