How To: Easy Step by Step Tutorial on Deepika Padukone Bajirao Mastani Makeup Look with Products Used
This is my first post on VNA and I am really excited about it. I am very thankful to VNA for letting me do this tutorial. Today I will be doing the Deevani Mastani inspired makeup tutorial from Bajirao Mastani. I haven’t really watched the movie yet but saw the promos and Deepika Padukone was looking flawless. It is a super natural makeup look which is very effortless. The look has been created by a lot of youtube gurus and beauty gurus but this is my spin on it. I have kept it very simple. How to do Base makeup like Deepika:
The first step to base makeup is to prep up your face with a really good primer as it will block all your pores letting your foundation glide on smoother and last longer. Then apply any foundation which matches with your skin tone and looks dewy because Deepika really had a very dewy and glowing skin in the movie. Apply concealer to areas where there is any kind of discoloration and on areas such as your under eyes , on the bridge of the nose, forehead, chin, and around the mouth and slightly highlight these areas.
Deepika Padukone Eyebrows: How to fill them
Deepika had very bold and natural looking eyebrows in Bajirao Mastani. The following steps are required to achieve that:
Step 1 – In this step line your brows with a brow pencil to make your brows look thicker and fuller
Step 2 – Fill in your brows with any dark brown brow powder. Try to find a shade which m atches with your brow hair. Don’t use black!

Deepika Padukone Eye makeup in Bajirao Mastani:
In Bajirao Deepika had very neutral and natural eye makeup which is quite effortless to achieve.
Step 1– Taking a very neutral eyeshadow I am putting it all over my eyelid with fingers as it will act as a base for my eye makeup.
Step 2 – Going in with a shimmery golden eyeshadow I am buffing it right into my crease
Step 3 – Then taking a light bronze shade from my eyeshadow palette I am blending it with with the previous shimmery golden shade into my crease .
Step 4 – Finally I am highlighting my brow bone with a very stubble highlighter.
Step 5 – Taking a black kohl I am tight lining my upper waterline as it will help my eyelashes look a lot thicker and fuller.
Step 6 – Then apply tons of mascara to your lashes. You can skip the falsies to achieve a more natural look.
Step 7 – Apply a nude eye pencil to your lower waterline and also on the inner corners to give it a neutral look.
Step 8 – Ta-da your eye makeup is done!
To finish off the look I applied little bit of a bronzer to my forehead, cheekbones and jaw line along with a blusher in a nude pink shade as Deepika did not seem to have much color on her cheeks. And as for my lips I applied a light pink shade of lipstick. And for accessories I did put on a nose ring and avoided the jhumar headpiece because I think I look too weird with it.
