So now that I have engaged you into the crazy musings of my mind, I shall talk to you about the very first step. Rosy cheeks! So for all you pretty ladies wondering how to get those rosy cheeks, I am here with complete review and swatches on the new Faces Cosmetics Glam On Perfect Blush in the shade 02 Hot Pink.

My Review of Faces Hot Pink Blush:
Packaging: The glam on perfect blush comes encased in a transparent plastic round pot with a click open lid. Once the lid is flipped open, the product is neatly caked inside. The transparent cap allows for easy identification of the colour in case you own more than one shades. Although the body is made of plastic, it is quite sturdy and closes with a satisfactory click making it travel friendly. The base of the pot consists of all details like the manufacturing, shade details et all. The outer packaging consists of a black cardboard box which has the Faces logo embossed in gold and the back side has other details like claims, manufacturing, price etc.
Texture & Product: The Hot Pink Glam On Perfect Blush is a Barbie Pink shade with shimmer in it. Despite the presence of shimmer, the product is not gritty in its applications and feels smoother while applying. Not a fan of shimmer in general, I was skeptical about this blush but was delighted to find out that the shimmer is not much visible on the face as it is in the pot itself. The formulation is easy and the product glides on the face and with a heavy heart I say that this amounts to a con of the product, reason being the presence of Talcum in the Blush ! Yes, this product consists of Talc which probably leads to a smoother application but is not a great thing to have on your face. The hot pink blush is well pigmented and a little goes a long way. Unless you want to end up looking like a clown, I d suggest taking a single dab of the blush brush and swiping it across the apples of your cheeks in a upward motion. The staying power of this faces powder blush is a good 4-5 hours post which it tends to get dull. This faces blush does not cling to any dry patches on the skin and comes off evenly after wear time. Once again, as is the case with the few Faces products that I have tried, this blush too is Parabens free! Yay!
Colour & Suitability: As I mentioned above, the colour is sort of like Barbie Pink with silver shimmer in it. To break it down I would say it’s a bright candy hued pink which brings a lovely glow on the face without leaving any traces of shimmer on the face. The colour pay off is quite good and the product swipes true to the colour in the pot. It’s a very wearable shade which would suit almost everyone considering it’s a buildable product which can be intensified without looking cakey. Light to medium fair tones Indian ladies however might want to use a lighter hand because of the brightness.

My Take: So far, I have reviewed a couple of products from the Faces range and almost all of them fall into the category of decently priced, basic functional products that do exactly what they claim. They are not extraordinary but they are extremely wearable from an everyday perspective and somehow great for people who are new to make up. I would pretty much say the same for the Faces Glam On Perfect Blush too. A nice bright pink which is easy to apply, has good colour pay off and good staying power for the price they charge for it, the only con in this product is the presence of Talc. The colour is great for summers and would go with almost any look. If you are looking for a basic everyday blush for the season to pull off with almost any look and are on a budget, you must give this one a try.
