Face washes are the only thing in the world of beauty with which we experiment the most. Skin care products are very personal in nature and you can’t be sure if a new product is going to suit you or not. It can give you the best results or make your skin a battlefield. (Nightmare!! right?) So you have to always keep trying and testing new products to know if they will suit you or not. Today I am going to review the newly launched Everyuth Naturals Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash which is part of the new revamped range by Everyuth. They have relaunched all their face washes, face masks, face scrubs, etc in blue packaging with Nargis Fskhri as their brand ambassador.

Sometimes my experiences are quite bad. Want to hear a story? The L’oreal white prefect laser overnight treatment does not suit me which costs Rs.1049. I had to stop using it due to increasing acne after using it. Similar story with the new launched Skin perfect age 20+ day cream. Heart breaking story right? I have sensitive and combination skin but I can’t resist myself from trying new stuff. Let’s come to the today’s review.

Everyuth claims: 100% soap free face wash. New Everyuth Naturals Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash is enriched with the natural goodness of Nano Vita-C and Lemon extract. Its soap free formula deep cleanses to remove excess oil and dirt that clog skin pores, but without leaving your face feeling dry and stretched. Your skin feels instantly oil free, clean and refreshed. Suitable for all skin types.

Direction for use: Squeeze out a small quantity onto your palm. Work up lather and gently massage onto your face. Rinse with water and pat dry. For best results, use two or three times a day.

My Review:

Packaging- Everyuth Naturals Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash comes in a turquoise blue and white tube packaging with a sturdy yellow cap. All details are written in white color on it. The cap is tight enough for usage at home but I am not sure about the travel compatibility as I never traveled with it taking it in my bag. It is not a see through tube and we don’t get to see how much of the product is left in the tube.

Texture, smell- This face wash has a gel like soft texture which is not very thick. I like gel face washes over creamy ones. So this is one plus point for me. It comes with a very faint yellow color but the color is barely noticeable. As this face wash contains lemon it smells also like lemon and I quite like the fresh lemony fragrance of this face wash.

Performance- The face wash claims to be soap free. When I apply it on my wet face and massage thoroughly, it does not lather so much justifying its claim of not having harsh soapy ingredients in it. It is quite a mild face wash and severe oily skin would not be very happy after using it. It does not make my skin dry and stretchy post usage but there is one drawback. I think it leaves some residue on skin though the residue is not slippery at all. After cleaning my face with this I apply toner and on the cotton ball I can see some very faint yellow residue. If you have no problem with it, you may definitely try this one, especially normal to dry skin girls. I never leave my skin without applying a moisturizer so I can’t tell you after how much time post wash it might feel stretchy. It does not help much in oil, acne, pimple control. I have no severe acne but I suffer from oily but dehydrated skin due to the humid weather in Kolkata. It keeps my skin oil free for hardly 1 to 1.5 hours.

The good about Everyuth Naturals Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash:

  • Very affordable
  • Easily available across India
  • Packaging is sturdy and nice
  • Texture is soft and gel like
  • Not so thick
  • Lemony fresh fragrance
  • Mild in nature
  • Does not lather much (I know some of you don’t like it point but I like face washes which are less soapy)
  • Does not make skin feel dry or stretchy

The bad about Everyuth Naturals Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash:

  • Leaves a residue which I noticed on cotton ball during toner application
  • Doesn’t clean the make up
  • Contains paraben
  • Contains SLES
  • Not very good at controlling oil
  • Not efficient in clearing acne (doesn’t claim that though)

Recommendation: Everyuth Naturals Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash is gentle and mild enough for everyday use. It is very difficult to find a face wash without SLES even if it does not contain SLS. And about the paraben part, I am not too much bothered about it. If you have dry to normal skin it is definitely worth trying at this price. But very oily skin girls may not find it good enough to control oil.
