Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Broadest Berry

Chubby sticks… I know these chubby sticks have been raved about in the past but that time they were just chubby sticks! NOW they are chubby sticks INTENSE and I am going to be reviewing and swatching a darker shade called Broadest Berry.
Clinique Claims: Tempt lips with a soft cushion of colour that’s not quite sheer, not quite opaque-just the perfect happy medium. Loaded with mango and shea butters so lips feel comfortably soft and smooth.
Firstly I completely agree with what Clinique says about them. The chubby sticks which first came to the market were just treated as tinted lip balms and some women did like them when others didn’t. I was among the girls who liked them. I like them because they are really moisturising and does impart a light colour to your lips. Even though I have pigmented lips I quite enjoy them. There are certain darker shades like Fuller Fig, Rum and Raisin
The color Broadest Berry is more of plumish brown color and the color pay off is amazing. It is a deep plum shade and girls who don’t prefer darker colors won’t like it. The color is more of a night time color than the day time but it can also be worn lightly as a stain in the day. That being said I always need a mirror especially while applying dark colors but this one makes it so much more eaiser as it just acts like a lip balm with lots of color so yes I love it!
It also does hides your pigmented lips which for me is such a plus point. When it comes to staying power it does stay on my lips for around 3-4 hours depending upon the in-between snacking. I do have to say that it does have a good staying power. I am eyeing the color called Roomiest Rose which is such a pretty berry rose kinda shade. I am surely going to pick it up next time.

- No shimmer…..thank goodness

Hate –why?
- May bleed slightly.

Why should you buy? Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Broadest Berry is a beautiful deep plum shade. If you didn’t like the previous Chubby Sticks then you should definitely try these Intense ones. I am sure you won’t be disappointed. Even if u don’t like dark colors there are many other colors. I guess total 8 shades are available from nudes to browns to fuschias to plums. I really feel every girl out there must must try one of these lip crayons.
