I love Clean & clear face washes. Apart from being cheap and too much pocket friendly, they suit me quite well. Among all, the pimple clear and the lemon face wash in morning energy range are my favorites. Today I have got this Clean and Clear fairness face wash which also claims to be oil free and won’t clog pores. So, I am going to review this pink fairness variant from the brand teenagers love. Let’s see how it fares.
Clean & Clear Claims: Cle an & Clear Clear Fairness Face wash. Its break through formula is proven to reveal naturally bright, pinkish fair skin. My Review:
Clean & Clear Clear Face wash comes in a pink attractive tube packaging. The transparent lid is flip open and tight enough to make the packaging travel friendly. The whole packaging is sturdy and easy to carry.
The Fairness wash comes with a very thick texture and pale pink in color with pearly finish. The consistency is like the Ponds white beauty cream. It has a creamy texture which produces so much foam when applied with water. The smell is kinda talc like but this doesn’t linger after rinsing the face wash.
I have combination skin which gets oily in summers. Other clean and clear variants suit me really well. But I think this fairness face wash is for those oil factories. It makes my skin stretchy which becomes a cause of irritation on my skin after using. It lathers very much and removes all the oil from face but strips off the natural oil too. I can’t use heavy moisturizer because of my oily acne prone skin thus even I use a light moisturizer, my skin feels stretchy for quite a long time, especially the area around the mouth. People suffering from too much oiliness may like it in summers. By the way, I didn’t notice any improvement my skin tone or any extra fairness after using this.
Good about Clean & Clear Clear Fairness Face wash:

Bad about Clean & Clear Clear Fairness Face wash:
- Doesn’t give a pinkish glow on your face s claimed. A blush may give you that effect
- Makes my skin stretchy and irritates my skin
- Talc like smell

Recommendation: though I have oily skin, it makes my skin stretchy and sometimes gives dry flakes or dry acnes too. So I will not buy it again. This is a very big no no for winters. But if you have very very oily face you may try this in summers. It will help controlling oiliness for 2-3 hours.
