What do you do when its raining all day, your internet has been down for a week and you have used up your phone’s data limit to keep the blog updated. You call the internet guys and beg them to fix it? Pray god to stop the rain? What if you tried it all and that stupid wi-fi is still not on? You take out your new lipstick for a test drive! Believe me when you have no internet, you suddenly become more aware of the shopping mall nearby and all the cute guys that hang out there. So this week when I had absolutely nothing to do, I put on my best clothes, my current favourite peach lipstick Avon Totally Kissable Caressing Coral and head out. That is what I am reviewing and swatching today.

Avon Caressing Coral is a sheer orange peach shade. There is no shimmer at all. It would suit just about anyone from fair to dusky Indian skin. If you are looking for a peach lipstick that doesn’t look neon or oopma loompa then this is for you. For a sheer lipstick, the pigmentation is just amazing. Although it won’t go opaque but it decently covers any lip pigmentation you might have.

The finish is like Mac lustre lipsticks. Its creamy, moisturising, watery and…seriously everything you would want in a lipstick. You can skip the lip balm with it. It glides on really easily and keeps your lips moisturized and hydrated. The staying power is around 2-3 hours but since its sheer you can always reapply without having to move your butt and excuse yourself to the wash room (I never re-touch my makeup because I simply..forget or get lazy!).

Avon went all silvery with the packaging. The good thing is you can use it as a mirror while re-applying.

There is nothing in this lipstick that I don’t like. I’m more of a subtle makeup girl (except those times when I just have to have something fun and bold on my lips). So this shade is so me! This might be your knight in shining silver armor!
