Its goddamn summer and the temperature sure as hell doesn’t seem to dip at all to make way for monsoon. In this tortured weather, I cannot think of applying anything on my oilfield face except a very light, matte sunscreen and that’s exactly what dear Organic Harvest has got. The water proof spf 30 sunscreen which I will review today.
Organic Harvest Claims: A hint of tint. A world of protection. And so much more. For daily easy use, it shields your skin from harmful sun rays and its sweat resistant formula gives a make up finish to your skin all day round.Shake well before Use.
My Review of Organic Harvest Sunscreen:
Honestly every single product has the same medically white pump bottle packaging which makes it bloody difficult to distinguish between all the other organic harvest products I have. I wish they change the color or something. Otherwise, as usual it’s a pretty sturdy plastic tube packaging which is light and easy to carry around.
The sunscreen lotion is white in color, with a very light and runny consistency- extremely easy to smoothen onto skin and becomes invisible on absorption. It does not feel at all heavy/greasy on skin and even in this heavy humid weather, I enjoy slathering it on my face!
The finish is not matte, that’s true but a very real skin-like finish which I top it off with a slight puff of my compact to set otherwise my hog-like sweat can spoil every damn thing in under a couple of minutes. Once set, it does not make my face oilier than usual and I only have to touch up once in maybe 3-4 hours which is pretty decent.
It has a solid protection of SPF 30 which is good, but I am extremely prone to tanning and I never step out without at least a spf 40 and beyond in this weather so I have to layer this on top of another sunblock.
The fragrance is very sweet and flowery which I enjoy, even though it might be a bit too strong for some.
The pros of Organic Harvest Sunscreen SPF 30:
- Sturdy and sensible pump bottle packaging
- Very light weight runny texture- absorbs quickly into skin without residue.
- Does not make my face oilier than usual .
- Has a very real skin-like finish without being too dewy or too matte.
- Did not break me out
- I like the very sweet flowery fragrance
- Water proof
- Formulated without harmful chemicals
The cons of Organic Harvest Sunscreen SPF 30:
- Spf 30 is certainly not enough for me
- Boring repetitive white medicinal packaging.

Do I recommend? Organic harvest is one of my trusted and favorite brands and I adore their spf 60 sunscreen. This one is far nicer in terms of texture and feel but it falls short at just spf 30! Its ok for layering with a decent day cream though which is how I use. Do give it a try!
