Review, Swatches, Price, Buy Online Faces Magneteyes Kajal
By Contributor: Rini
Give as more kajals as you can to the Indian girls and still, they will not get enough of them. With the latest trend of multi-colored kajals – grey, blue, white, brown, emerald, green – along with our classic black version, applying kajal has become a lot fun. But at the end of the day, we cannot deny that a jet black kajal leaves us looking more chic than any other color can. That is why, I think the black kajal can never go out of fashion. I will review and swatch Faces Magnet Eyes kajal today, which claims to be extreme black. Read on to know more about it.

My Review of Faces Kajal:
The packaging of Faces kajal is quite similar to the packaging of the other twist-up kajals in the Indian market. Only the color red is very prominent and eye catching. Nice and decent packaging, overall. The twist up kajal comes in a red shell and has the brand logo and bits of information embossed on it in white. The cap makes me struggle every time I use this kajal. There needs some pulling and scratching with nails to pull off the cap!
Faces magnet eyes kajal has a great black pigmentation. It is not what we call jet black but a nice wearable, natural looking black shade. It has very creamy texture and is super tender. I am unable to pull on a fine line on my upper eye lid for the fear that it would break with even slight pressure. But it glides easily on lower lid and water line. The kajal lasts 4-5 hours on my upper eye lid, around 4 hours on lower lid and some 45-60 minutes on waterline, after which the kajal begins to smudge. So, we see that the faces kajal is neither smudge proof nor extreme black.
However, being water proof and transfer resistant, the kajal becomes really convenient for every day wear. But again the same qualities make it somewhat difficult to remove the kajal. We always have some trouble in removing water proof stuffs, anyway. Generally, I use baby oil to remove make up but with the magnet eyes kajal, it did not work well. I was left with panda eyes and then I used my mom’s eye makeup remover. My eyes still had tit bits of kajal. I had to wipe and wipe and wash, fir jaake baat bani!
Otherwise, the faces magneteyes kajal is quite decent with its not-too-black pigmentation, creamy texture, smooth finish and yes, in terms of longevity also.
Pros of Faces Magneteyes Kajal:
- Decent packaging.
- Appropriate pigmentation.
- Water proof
- Transfer resistant
- Smooth and creamy.
Cons of Faces Magneteyes Kajal:
- Difficult to remove.
- Does not last all day.
Price in India: Rs.175
VNA Rating: 4/5
Where to Buy Online in India: nykaa.com
Conclusion: In these days of massive price hike of kajals, faces kajal at 175 bucks feels quite affordable for a decent kajal. It is worth a buy. Not for jet black lovers, though.
