Review, Price, Buy Online Himalaya Herbals Natural Intensive Lip Balm
By Contributor: Rini
Lip balms form a big part of us during winters. Though tinted balms are more popular and preferable, tint less lip balms are not out of fashion completely. They are great for healing chapped lips, dry lips and rough lips. So, let me introduce to you all a very promising tint-less lip balm from Himalaya Herbals. It makes all the same classic claims, made by most lip balms out there. Let us review and find out if the Natural Intensive Lip Balm is worth its price and deserves our trust. Read on to know about its claims and performances.
Himalaya Claims: A unique herbal formulation that provides intensive care and protection all day long. Natural Intensive Lip Balm deeply moisturizes and soothes chapped and cracked lips leaving them soft and supple. Winter cherry conditions lips and improves texture. Apple seed oil is an excellent anti oxidant which also heals chapped lips. Olive oil moisturizes lips and helps treat skin damage. Almond oil penetrates deeply into the skin and moisturizes lips. Honey heals chapped and cracked lips. Free from petroleum, silicones, artificial colors and preservatives.
My Review:
Himalaya Intensive Lip Balm comes in a very normal looking twist up packaging. The packaging is very weak. Dare dropping it from hands once and it will be gone forever, break into pieces and also the lip balm itself is very weak. It gets bent and tends to get broken very very easily.
The lip balm has a faint mango-ish smell and is pale yellow in color. The texture of the Himalaya lip balm is somewhat sticky and it is sort of difficult to glide it on the lips. But in spite of all these cons, the natural intensive balm does the job of a lip balm. It heals and smoothes out chapped lips, visibly reduces the fine lines on lips and smoothes rough or dry flakiness on lips, if any.
I apply it at night before bed and my lips feel sticky immediately. And tada! Wake up with smooth and soft lips next morning. No dryness, no roughness, no fine lines. Go apply your favorite lip color and flaunt your lips.
Though the Intensive lip balm lacks in SPF and we need to bear stickiness while using it, it is worth giving a try.
Pros of Himalaya Herbals Natural Intensive Lip Balm:
- Affordable and travel friendly.
- Pleasant mango-ish smell.
- No preservatives/ artificial colors/ silicones/ petroleum.
- Repairs and smoothes out dry, chapped and/ or cracked lips.
Cons of Himalaya Herbals Natural Intensive Lip Balm:
- Sticky in texture.
- Difficult to glide on lips.
- No sun protection.
- Weak packaging.

Conclusion: If you are really eager to buy Himalaya lip balms, opt for the strawberry shine one instead of this natural intensive variant. Though Himalaya Natural Intensive lip balm efficiently does the job of healing dry and chapped lips, I would not like to buy it again. With a few more bucks, we can get our hands on a lot of better and quality lip balms than this.
P.s: Sorry for no swatches, this lip balm has very faint glossiness which is nearly invisible without flash.
