Review, Price, Buy Online L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Pimple Reduction + Whitening Facial Foam For Age 20+

It’s raining new launches by L’Oreal these days, after the amazing lipstick collection of Pure Reds, L’Oreal Paris has come up with their skin perfect range targeted for women in different age groups. This range comprises of products for women in their 20s, 30s and 40s, and is definitely one of its kind. Being in my late twenties I went ahead with the age 20+ face wash called the Skin Perfect Pimple Reduction plus Whitening Facial Foam which I will review today.
L’Oreal Claims: L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect uses superior Vitamin 3x Technology through this range that combines Vitamin B3, Vitamin C and Vitamin E well known for their skin enhancing properties along with deep whitening actives that work on improving skin tone to give you healthy looking skin at any age. Age 20+ Skin Perfect Range cleansing foam is combined with Perlite and Salicylic Acid which helps keep oiliness, pimples and blemishes at bay through your twenties while giving you that perfect clear skin glow.
My Review:
The facial foam is white colored with a thick consistency. It comes in a fuss free plastic squeeze tube with a flip top cap which is easy to use. I only need a small pea sized amount of it and massage it over my damp face. It has soft fresh fragrance which is on the mild side and vanishes within minutes. It spreads easily and I like the soft foamy texture which feels very light on skin. It lathers nicely removing all the impurities, excess oils and also some light makeup. It is easy to wash off and leaves my skin squeaky clean.
I have been using it for a week and do like this foam. It gives a cleaner brighter look after washing face with it. As a cleanser it deeply cleanses pores and my face felt squeaky clean and radiant without the stretchy feeling. The foam worked quite well for my slightly sensitive skin and has not broken me out when used twice a day.
I have combination skin with dryness around the cheeks and although this foam does not rip off the moisture from my skin, it feels a bit drying especially in this weather and I cannot skip a good moisturizer after it. During summers when my skin is oilier I don’t think I will face the same issue. Having said that this will not work for dry skin and the concept of creating a single product for all women in their 20s with different skin types may not work here.
As for the whitening claim, it just brightens up the skin imparting a subtle glow but the effect is temporary and lasts for 2-3 hours after using it. As far as blemishes and acne scars are concerned I don’t see it reducing them but it helps in controlling new breakouts from occurring which is decent enough for a face wash.
What I liked about L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Pimple Reduction + Whitening Facial Foam Age 20+:

- Skin feels softer and smoother
- Imparts a glow
- Suitable for sensitive skin
- No uncomfortable or stretchy feeling on skin
- Little goes a long way
What I don’t like about L’Oreal Paris Age 20+ Skin Perfect Pimple Reduction + Whitening Facial Foam:
- Skin feels a bit dry
- One face wash will not work for all skin types
- Brightening effect is temporary
- Does not justify claims of reducing pimples

Do I recommend? As basic facial foam with good cleansing properties it is a great product to try. But if we go by the long name and claims it does not fulfill them completely. If you have combination to oily and are looking for a bit of glow from your cleanser then I recommend it, dry skin can give it a skip.
