Review, Swatches and Price of Coloressence Panstick Foundation + Concealer in shade- FS4
By Contributor: Debarati
Us shopaholics make some impulse buys and end up discovering some good products at cheap price tags. But there is a black side also my darlings!! Sometimes we end up investing so much money in buying a pricey product and it turns out a real mistake! These things are very common with impulse buyers as you know. So, today I am going to review and swatch the Coloressence panstick ( concealer + foundation ) And it was obviously an impulse buy. Read to know more is it worth the money or not.
Coloressence claims: Foundation stick- it provides a long lasting finished base on the skin, with its moisture balance and anti ageing formula. Its special components protect the skin against harmful effects of UV rays. It gives a smooth application to cover the flaws of the skin. Can also be used as concealer to give a flawless look to the skin.
My Review:
Packaging- coloressence panstick comes in a black plastick packaging. It has also a outer paper cover. But the packaging is quite simple and not so attractive. The cap is tight and doesn’t come out until you open it manually.
Shade- The shade I am reviewing is FS4- Pinkish Beige. It suits my skin the most among other shades. Any way it has a beige color with pink undertones. The shade name tells the whole story about shade.
Texture- it is expected that panstick would be hard as it may break from the base. It is not an exception. But when I swipe it on my face it feels soft and a good amount of product deposits on face. It takes some time to blend as it is not very creamy not oily either.
Coverage and performance- well. It has a decent coverage. It hides redness caused by acne and also dark circles around eyes. I use it both as concealer as well as foundation. When I apply it to the whole face I swipe it on face and then blend it with my fingers. When I use it as concealer I just take it with finger and then apply it on specific areas. When blended well, it gives a good coverage (not full though).
Staying power- It stays for around 4 to 5 hours. It is non sticky and non oily. This gives a matte finish. Oily skinned people may give it a try. I don’t use it in special occasions but for a casual outing sometimes I apply it and a compact over it. It is moisturizing but not gives an oily sheen to face which I like the most. But after 3 hours face starts to get oily.
Pros of Coloressence Panstick Foundation:
- Travel friendly packaging
- Affordable
- Shades match nicely with Indian skin tone
- Gives a decent coverage
- Stays for around 4-5 hours
- Suitable for oily skinned people
- Does not cause break out
- Can be used both as concealer and foundation
- Texture is soft
Cons of Coloressence Panstick Concealer:
- Takes some time to blend totally
- Packaging could have been better
- Limited shade selection
Price: Rs.185
VNA Rating: 3.5/5
Conclusion: Overall this is a nice product and can be used both as a foundation and concealer. Those who don’t like to use liquid foundations, can give it a try. It gives a nice coverage and staying time is also good at this price tag. It hides the flaws to a good extent. Beginners may buy it as their first concealer. This gives a matte finish and so it is worth trying. Recommended.
