Clinique Chubby Stick Mega Melon Review

Hope you guys missed me as much as I did. Its finally horrible summer now which wrecks havoc on my skin, hair, temper..err basically everything. I have been slow at work too as you can see. I had picked up this particular chubby stick long back after being officially hooked by the texture and range of colors! When I went to the store to pick it up I discovered omgg this shade came in a travel friendly size as well and hold your breath at half the price!! Umm the quantity is also measly but anyway I like this option better to try out. Presenting my review and swatches on the most wearable gorgeous peachy melon this summer – Mega Melon!
Clinique Claims: Coverage Sheer. Super-nourishing balm is loaded with mango and shea butters. Just what dry, delicate lips need to feel comfortably soft and smooth. Sixteen natural-looking lip tints in all, each with a subtle sheen.
How to use: Apply directly to lips. For subtle definition outline lips first, then fill in with natural-looking colour. Never needs sharpening: simply swivel up to reveal more lip colour balm.
My Review:
The Clinique chubby sticks come in the typical lip crayon packaging with a color-coded plastic sturdy crayon like body and a tight cap. Usually Clinique chubby sticks have a silver cap but this travel size one comes with a clear cap.
The texture is smooth, non sticky or heavy and applies very easily and evenly even when my lips are very dry J it does not accentuate lip lines/dry patches and instead softens and smoothens, resulting in a soft healthy pout.
The color mega melon is one of those neutral peachy everyday colors which looks great on simply everybody. It is a warm peachy color which will act as a MLBB for some as well! It gives me a pretty rosy peach color on lips which is classy yet subtle and its something I could get away with every outfit, be it day or night. Lovvee!
The pigmentation is of course sheer, this being the normal chubby stick range but can be easily built up to a more opaque coverage. Very pigmented lip issues will however remain unsolved.
The color does not last very long, an approx of 3+ hours but very easy to touch up so no issues. Also the lips do not get dried out even after the color wears away! A huge bonus.

Do I recommend? Ohh absolutely! Am always a lip crayon fan and have been hooked on these cutie chubby sticks ever since I tried them out :D more importantly this awesome neutral everyday peachy shade is suitable for all skin tones and is also available to try out in this size !! recommended!
