How to Aishwarya Rai Cannes Film Festival 2014 Makeup Look Tutorial

Well I really don’t know what people think about Aishwarya Rai now but for me she is one of the prettiest ladies on this planet. She has been my favorite actress since I first saw ‘hum dil de chuke sanam’ I used to dance on that song ‘nimbuda nimbuda’ and ‘dhol baaje’ all the time. She did some gorgeous red carpet makeup at Cannes 2014. So now I’m gonna do a makeup tutorial on the nude lips look that she had for the 67th Annual cannes film festival when she was wearing this gorgeous ivory Roberto cavalli gown. She had a similar hairstyle as she had on Day 1 with the red lips look. Her makeup was neutral with a pop of purple which complimented her green eyes beautifully.
Now lets get started with the tutorial:

Aishwarya Rai Eye Makeup Tutorial:
Step1: Start off by applying a grey eye shadow all over lid blending it into the crease, make sure it’s a really really light wash of color, nothing too dark.
Step2: Take that same grey e/s on your lower lashline, add a shimmery silver as well but again keep it really understated as the look Aishwarya had was really soft and neutral. Product used- L’oreal infallible e/s in flashback silver ( just added a hint of it, nothing too obvious)
Step3: Now take any skin toned eye shadow or just your regular compact and apply it to your brow bone blending into the grey.
Step4: Now comes the fun yet tricky part but nothing is tricky for us, aint it ? So now to get that perfect purple wing, start of by taking the eye shadow and lightly trace the wing (for how to do a winged eyeliner, refer to my tutorial on cat eyeliner). Once you have lightly traced the wing, dip your brush in a litte bit of water and then use the eyeshadow with that damp brush to get the perfect intensity. ( tracing the liner first will help you to avoid any mistakes) Product used: L’oreal infallible eyeshadow in Purple obsession.
Step5: Now go on and tightline your eyes using gel liner and drag the in towards your inner corner(refer to the picture) this will give your eyes that elongated effect that Aishwarya had. Product used: L’oreal gel line in black.

Step6: Now take a grey or silver grey eye pencil and line your waterline. You can use L’Oreal Gelmatic liner in silver .
Step7: Apply a good coat of mascara on your top and bottom lashes, apply falsies if you prefer like she had but I just don’t need it so I skipped that part. Product used: L’oreal million lashes mascara.
Step8: Done!

Now for the face and lips.
1. L’oreal true match foundation
2. L’oreal accord mineral foundation to set my makeup and get extra coverage.
For the cheeks use any neutral blush for contouring and an everyday apricot blush for the apple of cheeks.
For the lips- I was constantly trying to find the L’Oreal Shine Caresse stain in venus but unfortunately it was out of stock at my nearest counter so I found a closer dupe for it and it is the l’oreal glam shine 6H lip gloss in 105, hold on rose
.
