Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Shades: Green, Blue, Grey, White, Brown and Black
Somethings in life are meant to be simple. Like the shade names of the new kohl pencils by Lakme Eyeconic. Not jungle queen, icey mojito, choco blah blah..just simple green, blue, brown, grey, white and white. Saves you a lot of trouble of making memos in your phone. 4 out of the 6 shades have already been reviewed on VNA in detail with corresponding swatches on eyes. The remaining 2 I will review in a couple of days. But I just wanted to recap and revise all the swatches side by side to check the strong and weak links.
Its a blackened teal green kind of shade. Very deep and mysterious. Works good with smokey eye looks. I mostly smudge it on my upper lid and wear it lightly on the outer corner and lower lashline. Flatters medium to dark Indian skin tones quite well.
Lakme Eyeconic Blue Kajal:
Its a grey blue kind of shade. Not your regular true blue. On my eyes it looks a lot similar to the green one. I would have liked a little more inky blueness in it. But anyway good for smokey looks if you avoid black. It has not been reviewed or swatched on blog before.
A nice chocolate brown. I’ve a brown from Colorbar I-Glide range (Cocobar?) but thats a little too dark for my liking. But this one is bright enough to look brown on my eyes and yet not look harsh. Good for office wear.
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Grey:
The prettiest grey liner out there! Not black..not blue..not silver..just grey. It looks super super nice on my eyes and I will do a full review of it soon. A must have according to me!
A creamy white shade. Although nude would have worked better but better than nothing. Already been reviewed but a lot of looks coming up with this one to make it more wearable. Yes yes its for all you girls who commented on the review post that its too stark for dark skin.
This has been talked about so many times here that I am now even bored to take its name. The best budget black kajal in India. Ofcourse if you wanna shell out some more bucks then get Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate which btw is my favourite kajal of all time. I NEED to show you how much!
Swatches from Bottom to top: Green, Blue, Brown, Grey, White, Black. All of them have been swiped twice. But one swipe is good enough because these are quite pigmented.
Price: Rs.250 for the coloured ones (Rs.200 for black)
In my opinion, Grey is a must have and all you girls out there you need to try it to see how it flatters our brown eyes. The brown is office appropriate and works with fair skin tones who think black is too much for them. Green is good for smokey looks. White is good for inner corner and highlighting. Get the blue to complete the set but not a must have.
