MAC Fast Play Lipstick Review and Swatches on Indian Skin
By Contributor: Arshita Dhara
On my medium yellow Indian complexion, pure neutral nude shade lipsticks look little bit stark and wash me out so I always opt for pinkish neutral shades or peachy shades. While searching for neutral lipsticks from MAC, I came across this nice pinkish nude shade called Fast Play from the Amplified Crème range which I will review and swatch today. I generally prefer matte lipsticks, for no particular reason and I always end up buying the matte ones only without even noticing! But, somehow I liked this shade so I did not care for the creamy finish.
Ever since I bought this lipstick it has been my favorite and everyday lipstick! I wear it with my smokey eye looks or just minimal makeup looks; it gets along with any look (seriously!). This pinkish neutral shade will suit all the skin tone, I reckon! As for fair skinned ladies this will work like MLBB
(I mean YLBB), for medium and dusky skin tones, it works as nice nude shade.
As I said earlier, I use this lipstick almost every time I go out now, and I can say I am quite happy with its staying power. It stays almost 6 hours and after that I notice fading from some places. I am happy with it because 6 hours is I think pretty good and I have a habit of lip smacking all the time; so in spite of being a creamy lipstick, it stays decent. And this might be the reason I like matte lipsticks, no matter how much I keep smacking my lips it just stays intact!
This amplified creme lipstick is very creamy and well-pigmented. Only 2 or 3 swipes pay off the actual color of this lipstick. The other weird but my favorite thing about this lipstick is its beautiful smell, I cannot exactly explain it but it’s nice! The finish is also creamy and it has a hint of glossy texture in it. It does not settle into the zillions of fine lines on my lips! The bullet looks quite dark and also the swatches, but when applied on the lips, it looks exactly like light neutral pink.

It can be worn with any outfit and any type of makeup, perfect for daily wear. Also, it will suit any skin tone as it has a pinkish or peachy tint which looks flattering. A perfect neutral shade
