Sleek Rose Gold Blush Review, Swatches and NARS Orgasm Dupe
By Contributor: Sushmita M
Rose and Gold are two favourite things for every girl. One is a flower and the other is an expensive metal. I like roses more than gold and the mix of both of them can blow your mind. Yeah, I am right Sleek Rose Gold can blow your mind. I have been following beauty bloggers and youtubers and mostly everyone proclaims it to be a a dupe of the well known Nars Orgasm Blush. I don’t have Nars Orgasm Blush with me so cant do a swatch comparison of both in this post. But if you see the swatches of it, it’s not exactly the same but quite similar. Let’s start with the review and swatch of Sleek Rose Blush.
Sleek Claims: Highly pigmented blushers to brighten and define cheekbones, available in 10 shades. These silky-fine and long lasting blushers create a subtle and radiant glow and suit all skin tones.
Sleek Rose gold is the most highly pigmented blush I have came across. It’s a Rosy pink shade with lots of golden shimmers. This is the only blush I don’t have any complaint for the shimmer. This gives a rosy golden look on cheeks and imparts a healthy glow. One swirl is enough to get perfect amount of blush on your blush brush. However too much of it can make you look like a disco ball. So a light hand is recommended.
The smooth and silky texture helps blending it well. The long lasting blush provides a dimension to your cheeks. You can apply on your apples or directly hightlight your cheek bones. Those who are looking for golden highlighters this one should be perfect!
I am going through a major Blush phase and I think I will not able to stop it. More than a lipstick, a blush attracts me the most. Its getting hard for me to control but blushes are such pretty things which I can’t get enough of. Isn’t it girls?
Sleek Makeup has so many gorgeous blush shades to choose from and at the time of placing my order I was totally confused while choosing 1 out of 10. While searching beauty blogs and youtubes eveyone called it a dupe of Nars Orgasm Blush. I guess this is how Sleek Rose Gold became so popular. I am not sure if I can get hold of Nars Orgasm but why not have such a pretty dupe in my vanity!
Note: Blushes should be always applied after tapping off excess amount from your blush/ contour brush so that you don’t end up looking like a clown. This will help you to control the right amount you can apply or later if needed reapply and build it up.
This is how Rose Gold looks on my face
What I like about Sleek Rose Gold Blush:
The colour is coral pink which is my favourite.
The smart black Sleek packaging.
Highly pigmented hence you need a less amount.
The smooth and silky texture that can be blended well.
Long Lasting power.
Similar looking – Nars Orgasm. You can save some money.
Highlighting effect on cheeks and cheekbones.
Gives a healthy glow.
Perfect for parties and outing and even marraiges. Brides can trust this!
What I don’t like about Sleek Rose Gold Blush
:
Those who don’t like golden shimmer may not like it much.
Not very safe to apply during the day time. If applied a generous amount it can make you look like a disco jhiki-mi-ki!

VNA Rating: 4.5/5
