 Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Shadow Duos: Swatches (Blue Shadow, Lime Time, Pink Wink)

As you know, Lakme has launched a new Drama Stylist range with some shadow duos, eye shadow crayons and blush duos. If you are a makeup freak, anything new in the markets is sure to arouse your interests ( and lower your bank balance) but what do we earn for? Right! So to tease you I’m showing you the swatches of the Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Shadow duos in 3 shades.

From left to right:

• Blue Shadow: it consists of a sky blue shade and a black shade (both satin)
• Pink Wink: it consists of a pink shade and a deep plum shade (the finish is satin)
• Lime Time: it consists of a neon lime shade and a plain white (both matte)
• Purple Haze: not swatched but has got a purple and a grey/black shade I guess

I’m sharing the swatches of 3 Shadow Duos I spotted: Pink Wink, Blue Shadow and Lime Time. There is one more shade (Purple Haze) but I didn’t spot them at the GK M-Block counter.

The swatch you see above is Pink Wink which has a pink and a plum shade. Both have a satin like texture. Not my favourite combo for an eye makeup look honestly.

This is Blue Shadow. The light blue with shimmer is so pretty and would work as a great lid colour. And the black doesn’t have the obvious shimmer which is good and is nicely pigmented. The swatch you see is just one swipe.

This one is Lime Time. Looks the prettiest in pan out of all the shades available. The bright yellow is so fun but I’m not sure if it pairing it with a stark white shade would be a good idea. Plus since the finish is matte, I find this duo a bit chalky.

And my preview:

• the pigmentation is pretty good. I’ve shown you just one swipe of each duo.
• The shimmer in the eyeshadows is subtle and not OTT.
• There is one neon and matte shade which is totally a summer duo for me.
• the matte duo – Lime Time is a bit chalky
• They stay for an average amount of time without primer
• the price for an eyeshadow duo is okay..not good but okay.
