Inglot Matte #382 Review and Swatches: Freedom System Square Refill
By Contributor: Rmyah
Red is one of my most favorite colors. It’s the brightness of it, the depth of it, the vibrancy of it, and I just cannot resist it. Red makes me wanna go va va voom. I cannot tell you how many reds I have, be it dresses, shoes, lipsticks, blushes, and more lipsticks. All that was missing was a nice bright inspiring red in my eye shadow collection. Every time I looked at my eye shadows, the emptiness of a pretty red was killing me. And then lo and behold, there came an Inglot online sale, and I thought I ordered a hot pink, but I ended up owning a beautiful Red from Inglot. And the best part, the Red is matte. Presenting, my review, swatches and an eye makeup look of Inglot India’s most gorgeous shade ever, MATTE 382.
That could’ve sounded much better, but what does it matter, Yippee I own a Red.
My Review:
Inglot matte 382 is not exactly the bright bold red that you would crave for. But then we wouldn’t want to let the vampire red get anywhere near our eyes right. Let that red stay on the lips. 382 is this toned down warmer red which nowhere looks bright enough to attract supernatural beings. It is this gorgeous color which cannot even make you look weird even if it tried hard.
Texture: The Inglot matte eye shadows are so pigmented, I have never come across any matte shades being this pigmented, I usually have to dig, scrape and apply wet most of the matte shades that I own but this baby made me love matte so much.
The eye shadow is easy enough to apply, blend and manipulate it to the way you want it to behave. I wouldn’t go as far as calling the texture buttery, because it does have a little non buttery texture, for want of a better word. But then it shows up like no other matte ever does. So full marks for that.
Staying power: Without a primer, Inglot Matte 382 lasts around three hours on my oil wells of eye lids. After which it starts to fade off. It doesn’t really fade off completely though and I know that yes I do have shadow on my lids. With a primer, though, the staying power increases by another three hours and six my darlings is a beautiful number.
Packaging: The entire Inglot freedom system collection comes in a black outer cover with the eye shadow pan wrapped in a plastic wrap. Use and throw is the mantra when it comes to the cover.
Non magnetic pans make it really difficult to store it anywhere other than in a magnetic palette. Inglot also carries their magnetic empty palettes for us enthusiasts to spend more money on the brand. Clever huh.

The bads about Inglot Matte 382:
Do I see a bad at all? With a red missing in my vanity, I think I love this shade too much to even consider a bad.

VNA Rating: 4.5/5
VNA Recommendation: Inglot Freedom System 382 Matte Eyeshadow is a beautiful red shade. I have not come across many Red eye shadows in the market.
