Rimmel London ScandalEyes Precision Micro Eyeliner Black Noir
By Contributor: Tejinder Kaur
Really excited to review and swatch my HG Eyeliner from my favourite brand Rimmel London. I was using Maybelline Master Precise liquid eyeliner from a few months but switched over to this one ever since I picked it from my local Tesco’s. It was an experimental purchase, hubby insisted and took me grocery shopping. I accompanied him for half of the shopping before detouring to my favourite beauty products aisle! Would have loved to shop for a few more items but there were no offers as such.
Rimmel London claims: Choose the ScandalEyes Precision Micro Eye Liner for a playful, graphic yet feminine look.Featuring an ultra-thin felt tip, giving you ultimate control and a super-fine line that artistically defines your eyes with no unsightly wobbles. A state- of-the-art formula with a super-high concentration of intense pigments for an ultra-black, tattoo-like line which dries in seconds and resists just about anything, water, heat, sweat, flaking, smudging, for 24 hours.
How to apply: Apply to the bottom of your lid, above and below your eye lashes.
Rimmel Eyeliner Black Noir is one of the best eyeliners I have ever used. It is dark black in colour with a sharp tip which is super small so you can draw precise lines. You can have a lot more control when creating your eye flick/wing. Pigmentation is superb as it is opaque in one stroke which is quite impressive. The colour is a really rich black after the first swipe and has not dried out after many uses. The finish is matte has this subtle sheen which looks really nice.
The staying power is good too as its formulated to be waterproof. It is really simple to remove; I use a makeup wipe and it comes out very nicely. I am so glad I picked up this eyeliner because it is easy to use and does not smudge or tug. The fragrance is okay for me. The fine tip is very flexible to do any eye makeup design. I didn’t experience any irritation or allergy. It stayed all day on my eyelid without the need to re –touch. This is a pen so its like drawing sketches on your eyes.
Its quite sturdy and travel friendly. The tip does not dry at all. It stays on for longer on oily lids as well. The formula is not as watery as other liquid liners so it dries fairly quickly in comparison. As you can see on my hand swatches, it is very pigmented. A great tool to use if you have a steady hand; just like drawing with crayon back in primary school!
It comes packaged as a pen in a sleek glossy lightweight black case. Looks classy! The brand name is embossed on the lower part of the body and the lid has got a label which describes the shade name. The precise sharp tip is very easy to work with and it fits well in the hand.
Let’s check the photos and swatches:
I’ve applied the black eyeliner on both my upper line and lower line
Pros of Rimmel London ScandalEyes Precision Micro Eyeliner:
Superb pigmentation.
Very rich dark black colour.
Pen style applicator for easy application
Super fine tip to draw more precise lines
Travel friendly
Glides smoothly
No irritation or allergy to the eyes
Can be easily removed with wet wipes
No smudging or tugging
Excellent staying power
Dries very quickly
Settles to a matte finish
Cons of Rimmel Eyeliner:
Expensive but totally worth the price
Availability can be an issue in India
Note: The tip does not dry easily but you need to keep it covered at all the times. If it starts to dry, just pop the cap back on and shake the product a little and leave it for a minute. The fluid doesn’t take long to soak back up into the tip.
Price: £5.49
VNA Rating: 5/5
Final Verdict: Rimmel London ScandalEyes Precision Micro Eyeliner is an excellent liner. It applies really nicely and evenly and the felt tip is easy to use. It’s easy to apply thick or precise lines or even do a wing. Its waterproof and dries to a matte finish but still gives a subtle glossy look. It is travel friendly as its quite light weight and sturdy. I am quite impressed with this product.

Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the internet the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
