L’Oreal Paris Fall Repair 3x Anti Hairfall Shampoo and Conditioner

There is something special in the air today. (May be because I got up too early?). Its been raining since morning and I just came home fully drenched. Its getting so cold that I’ve turned off the fan! Days like today don’t call for blogging. Instead you listen to music, sit back and relax. And have bread pakodas? So I chanced upon this new song Jad se Judein by Mohit Chauhan (for L’Oreal Paris) and it made me so nostalgic. I want to go back to my school. I want to call all my friends and go out on terrace and dance in the rain. But….stupid life…..here I am blogging!

L’Oreal Paris says: Arginine is an essential amino acid vital for hair’s constitution. It is known for nourishing scalp to improve micro circulation. Enriched with Argine Essence, the new Fall Repair 3X range delivers a triple anti – hair fall action.

1)    Nourishes the hair root
2)   Restructures Hair fiber
3)    Hair Grows stronger
My hair stats: Normal with bad hairfall in monsoons
L’Oreal Fall Repair 3x Anti Hair Fall Shampoo

I’ve been using this shampoo for a month now. It is runny and creamy white in texture. The fragrance is something I really enjoy. I can’t really pin point what it smells like but its definitely nice. But lasts for a couple of hours after you wash your hair. This shampoo    sells on the USP of anti hairfall. I used it for a month and noticed it does control hair-fall to an extent. But the results last as long as you keep using it. When I ran out of the bottle and stopped using it, my hair fall started again slowly. So if you keep using it, you are good.

Let’s look at the photos and swatches:

The conditioner smells exactly like the shampoo…..something sweet and fruity…something edible. The texture is thicker and creamier than the shampoo, just how conditioners should be. You are supposed to use the conditioner with the shampoo because a conditioner can’t stop hair-fall (we apply it starting from the ears and not the roots). So if we judge its conditioning properties then its average. I don’t have dry hair so it works for me but I can imagine how dry hair can be more demanding. It makes my hair a little oily or greasy by the end of the day. So I tend to shampoo more often when I use it.

If I’ve to pick one, I would say go for the shampoo and skip the conditioner. If you have coloured hair then do read my recommendations on Shampoo and Conditioner for Coloured hair.

Price: Rs.80 each

VNA Rating: 3.5/5

So is it for you? If you are looking for a shampoo and conditioner duo that controls hair fall and smells good enough to eat. The results last as long as you keep using it. The hair control is not drastic but say 40%.

So here is the song I was talking about. I’m adding the video for you if you haven’t seen it yet. L’Oreal Paris
