If someone asks you “whats the hardest thing you do or have doneR 21;, what would you say? Some say getting the first job, some say climbing over a mountain, for some its “dealing with a nagging wife” and some funny ones say “getting a school degree”. Well for me its applying a straight line with a liquid liner. WHAT?! Its hard to master okay and now I think I’m close to getting my eyeliner degree, thanks to this wonderful eyeliner we have up today.
Superliner Carbon Gloss is a liquid eyeliner in a special sponge tipped pen for the creation of fine lines or thick, sultry flicks. The intense carbon black colour is applied with precision and ease and dries without smudging. Ophthalmologically tested.
This is a glossy black liner (as the name suggests). The finish is very glossy but takes atleast 2 coats to go opaque. The brush applicator that comes with it is a sponge felt tip pen like applicator. This brush works better in comparison to other usual liquid liner brushes since this provides better grip which is very useful if you just can’t make a straight line in one go!
The texture is slightly runny. And it dries to a medium glossy finish. The liner is not waterproof which is a big con in these monsoons!
Let’s fire some bullets:
The finish is glossy after it dries.
The pigmentation is okay, needs atleast 2 coats to go opaque.
The sponge felt tip applicator makes for precise application and thin lines.
VNA Rating: 3.5/5 (for not being waterproof and being sheer)
So is it for you?If you want a black liquid eyeliner that gives a glossy finish and applies easily then you may give L’Oreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss a try. It is sheer in first coat and needs a bit of layering. It is not waterproof. A good option but not a must have.
