I got this BB Cream because:
1. Skin Food is one brand which makes beauty products good enough to eat.
2. I love mushrooms
3. I loved the vintage wooden packaging
Naah just ignore them all! Who spends a 1000 bucks just like that?! I got it because I read somewhere that Skin Food makes BB creams dark and yellow enough to suit us Indians. And you already know how I loouve BB creams.
The shade I got is #2 Natural Skin (they have only 2 shades). And guess what…..I got lucky! It indeed suits
my yellow asian skin. FYI I’m NC37 in Mac. Th shade totally blends into my skin and never looks white or cakey. The coverage is light so it works almost as a substitute for my tinted moisturiser. Even though the texture is thick and creamy, blending is easy and you can do it with your fingers too. The texture is matte so most suitable for oily skinned girls. Btw just see how thick it is….almost like more than a foundation! It kept my nose oil-free for 3-4hrs this summer which is GOOD.
Now since Ponds TM is discontinued I have started hoarding different BB creams and tinted moisturisers. So don’t be surprised if you see a couple few more here. Did I tell you how much I love its classy packaging? Yes you can pay a 1000 bucks just for that! It feels so elite to own it. Don’t be surprised if I use it in my blog header…..I’m this obsessed.

So is it for you? Yes if you want a nice light daily use make up base then look no further. This BB cream isn’t light like most bb creams in the market so you have to give it credit for that. Plus the blending, texture makes for a nice package. Not a must have but good to have one Skin Food.
