Revlon ColorBurst Lipgloss Review Swatches – Papaya 020
Whenever I tell people in my college that I’ve orange lip colours, they back away and give me those weird looks. Really its time people should start reading blogs! The other day a girl in my class asked me “what’s your actual lip colour??” At first I didn’t get her “actual?” Then it hit me! If you don’t want people to look at your lips instead of your eyes then you should NOT try the Revlon lipgloss
The shade Papaya is a coral orange colour with diffused gold shimmer. Although the shimmer is not visible to the naked eye but the camera picked up on it. If you want lips that shine prominently then go for this one! No its not neon which I thought it was since it looks much brighter in the tube. The colour will suit just about everyone.
The formula is slightly sheer so you won’t look like you just had an orange lolly. The doe foot applicator picks up just the right amount and gives you an even finish. The texture is slightly thick which increases its staying power and keeps your lips moisturised. On me it lasts for 3-4hrs with meals. Although I would have preferred a lighter formula since you get this something-is-sitting-on-my-lips feel with it. But overall its one of the best lipglosses to have in your vanity.
For a neon orange effect you can layer it over a bright orange lipstick .
My other favourite shades from this range are Fire and Strawberry Fraise. I’ve swatched almost all the shades here.

So is it for you? Yes if you want sheer peachy orange lips without looking OTT. The formula is good and lasts for 4hrs with light meals. The shimmer is not visible in person and adds a shiny effect. The colour adds warmth to my face and will probably suit almost all skin tones. One of the most in-budget lipglosses. A must try!
PS – yes I clicked the first 2 photos with my blue top as a table cloth then wore it again!
