After a long wait we finally get to see
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the Cannes Fim Festival. She chose to wear an Abu Jani – Sandeep Khosla off-white chikankari embroidered sari with an embroidered full-sleeved blouse. While the WORLD seems to criticize her for wearing such a “busy” and “full” outfit, I was quite happy with the outfit choice. One of my cousins, wore this sherwani blouse in her engagement party and since then I’m in love with such designs. Mrs.Bachchan, although I don’t like anything about you and I’m always against you, this time you have my full support….and sympathy. Don’t you see how conscious she is while she ‘tries’ to pose. While the outfit did nothing to her silhouette, well nothing can..she can’t wear maxis and kaftans all the time, right? And the saree itself is so gorgeous. They have made sure to cover up every inch of her skin to hide those flabs. And I’m RELIEVED that she got rid of her hideous double chin.

Her hair were pulled up in a bun with a streaky pouf adorned with a gold band. I like the hair do although I’m not a fan of hair decorations. I HATE head bands with big flowers and butterflies and bows and what not! Even my 12yr old self could not wear those! Read on for the makeup products that were used to create the look.

The makeup was kept colourful on eyes with lots of gold and kohl.
~Start with applying Hydrafresh Deep Boosting Essence to prep up your skin. Follow up with L’Oreal True Match Foundation and blend it in.
~Apply the L’Oreal Infallible Mono Eyeshadow in 02 Hourglass Beige in the inner part of the lid. Apply the Infallible Mono Eyeshadow in 012 Endless Chocolate in the outer corner to smokey-fy the eyes and blend away the hars lines.
~Apply the L’OR Electric Instant Impact Felt Tip Liner to line the upper and lower lash line. Go heavy on the lower lash line- she has loads of black in there.
~Apply the Volume Million Mascara to the eyelashes.
~Add a touch of L’Oreal True Match Blush in 265 Golden Apricot. Don’t over-do, just a light hint of colour is what you need.
~And now apply the L’Oreal Glam Shine lipgloss in 300 Golden Tattoo for the nude lips.
And you are done!
